George and Dream spent the afternoon together. George was busy taking in the detail of Dream's choice in decor. The entire house was extremely simple as far as decor went. It made the rooms look large and the house gave off a very clean, professional vibe.
George chuckled softly at the one hanging against a wall in the livingroom.
"I see you've taken a page from my book," He mumbled, now admiring the printed out bucket list.
"I did. Sometimes you're pretty smart." Dream replied.
"Sometimes?" George smirked. "Last I checked you're the one that couldn't pronounce my middle name."
"And yet you still don't know what mine is." Dream chuckled.
"I'll find out one day, dreamy," George said.
The brunette's eyes darted over the white paper. It was very similar to his own. In a simple black frame with a few items crossed out in bright red marker.
"Wait-" George halted. "This isnt... your list?" He questioned.
"It is," Dream countered.
George recognized only some of the items.
"But-"
"It's an improved version," Dream interrupted. "I felt it was necessary since the first version was so rushed."
George nodded, reading the unfamiliar items on the list.
"Ask boy out?" George asked, chuckling softly at the words.
"Yeah. I never have." Dream mumbled. "It's always been women..." He sighed.
"You're not gay?" George asked.
"Oh, no. I definitely am. I was desperate to hide it until I moved out of my parents' house." Dream answered.
"Thats fair-"
"Eh- not really. I was doing it for selfish reasons."
"How so?" George asked.
"Two of my siblings are bi. I felt like if I came out, I'd be too similar to them and I didn't want that." Dream chuckled. "It's not too bad, but still."
"Yeah I get it. I was the opposite, almost. My two older sisters are both straight and I came out super early."
The duo spent a few more hours talking and the time flew by, darkness eventually swallowing the apartment, signaling it was time for departure.
"I should probably go," George mumbled. A tired tone overwhelmed his voice making his accent pop out more than usual.
"Yeah." Dream replied, stretching against he black couch and yawning softly. "I'll walk you out," He smiled.
George nodded softly and Dream showed George out just as he said he would.
"Goodnight, George." He shot the brunette another smile.
"Night, Dream," George replied, leaning up and placing a gentle kiss against Dreams cheek.
And with that, he began the relatively short walk to the bus stop. He came to the crossroad and made sure to look both ways before crossing.
George made it halfway across the street before a car came barreling towards him at full speed. In an effort to avoid said vehicle, he dropped to the ground, hitting his head against a tree in the process.
"Shit..." He slurred, barely able to stay fully conscious.
"Dream-" He mumbled, grasping his phone in his hand as he clicked the blonde's contact, losing the battle between him and sleep as the phone rang.
