Josie POV

It's been a couple weeks. Hope's been helping out with everything I need, and more. Honestly, she's been a big help. She scheduled all of our doctors appointments, and she goes grocery shopping for me. Though, I think it's more so for the baby and not me.

She's very...let's say picky with what I eat. She literally searched through my entire kitchen, and got rid of anything she deemed "unhealthy", which was pretty much everything. It gets annoying at times, but I know she's just doing it for the baby.

I have to admit, it's kinda nice how much she cares. I've never seen her like this, granted, I've never really been close to her. She spends a lot of time at my house, and when she isn't here, she checks in, like, every hour. Whether it's a call, or a text message.

Along with Hope being around all the time, so is Lizzie. They argue every second of the day. When I say every second of the day, I mean every second of the day. I turn the corner, and see that they're literally about to rip each other's head off.

It's definently the most annoying, and irritating thing about being pregnant. It's like they never stop. Whether it's dissagrements about me and what's best for me, or them just hating each other. "Josie. Come on" Hope yells from downstairs.

I goan, because she's been rushing me for the past 10 minutes. "Stop rushing me" I yell back. "Well, I wouldn't have to if you had already been ready before I got here" she says. "You try putting on a pair of jeans when nothing fits you anymore" I snap, giving up on the jeans.

I hear her walk upstairs, and in a few seconds, she walks into my room. "Then try a different pair" she says. "I did, dumbass. This is the last pair" I reply, pointing at the pile of jeans on my floor. She pinches the bridge of her nose, then walks into my closet.

I angrily take the jeans back off, and throw them in the pile. I huff, looking at myself through the mirror. I'm standing in the middle of the room, half naked. A minute or two later, Hope walks out of the closet. She throws two pieces of clothing at my face, then says "Hurry up".

I took them off, and saw that she was already out of the room. "Fuck you" I say, loud enough so she can hear. "That's why we're here now, Josie" she replies. I hear her walking downstairs. I roll my eyes, and look at he clothes she gave me.

It's a pair of grey sweats, and a white shirt. I put the clothes on, and grab my phone. With each step I take down the stairs, the more I can hear Hope and Lizzie arguing. I didn't even care to know what it was about. I just walked right passed them, outside, and to the car.

I got in the passengers seat, and waited for them. When they walked out of the house, I could see that they were still arguing. I ran my hands over my face, really not in the mood to listen to them argue the whole ride. They opened the doors, and I heard it.

Though, before they could get in, I say "I swear to god, if you two get in this car and keep arguing, I'm getting out, and going back to sleep". The two of them stop talking, and sit in the car. I look at them both for a split second, then out the window.

They both look like they're in bad moods. Lizzie more than Hope. Lizzie actually looks pissed. I don't care though. They've both been way too irritating today for me to care about their feelings. I know that seems a bit mean, but it's how I feel.

You guys are probably wondering if I told my parents. Well, probably not, but I'm gonna tell you anyways. I told my mom first, and she took it well. She was, and is, very happy for me. She said that she was gonna fly down from Europe to visit soon, which I'm exited for.

My dad on the other hand, was not as exited. He was pissed actually, which was to be expected. He was complaining about how I was too young. Though, of course, in his mind, I have to keep it. That's how all the pro-lifers are.

They complain about how you're too young to be having kids, then when you choose to have an abortion, suddenly you aren't too young. Honestly, they need to make up their minds. The funniest part is that they do absolutely nothing to help provide for said baby. It pisses me off really.

Anyways, Hope pulls into the parking lot of the hospital for our appointment. The three of us get out the car, and start walking into the building. We just go straight up, because Vincent is our doctor. Hope knocks on the door a few times, and he opens it.

He gives us a small smile, then lets us in. I sit on the bed thingy, Lizzie sits on one of the chairs, and Hope just leans against the wall. "Ok, Josie. Has there been any pains, or anything like that recently?" Vincent asks. "Um, I've been getting cramps, but they aren't too bad yet" I answer.

He nods, writing something down. "Where do they usually occur?" he asks. "In my side, and my lower abdomen" I answer, pointing for refferance. He nods again, writing more things down. He grabs a cup, then hands it to me. "Same as always" he says.

I give a tight lipped smile, then walk into the bathroom. I pee in the cup, but don't fill it all the way up, like I'm suposed to. I walk out when I'm done. I put the cup on the little platter thing, and he leaves to go test it.

The room was dead silent the whole time, which I'm ok with. It's a little awkward, but anything is better than them arguing. Hope had woken me from a nap, so I'm really tired right now. Appearently, she told me we had an appointment yesterday, but I don't remember that.

About 15 minutes later, Vincent comes back. "Alright, I have the results. According to them, the baby is fine, and they're healthy. Though, I'm gonna do an ultrasound to see if they're growing correctly" he says. "Can you lay lay down for me, Ms. Saltzman?" he asks, in which I do.

"I'm gonna lift your shirt a little, ok?" he says. I give him a nod. He lifts my shirt, then says "This is gonna be a little cold". He squeezes the cold gel onto my stomach, which makes me tense up a bit. He uses a little took to spread it around, and look at the baby.

Hope and I don't want to know the gender yet, so he doesn't show us the screen. Though, we do get to hear the baby's heartbeat. Hope was smiling the entire time, as were Lizzie and I. After he's done, he wipes the gel off. I fix my shirt, and sit up.

"Did you guys make your decision?" he asks. "Uh, yea. We're gonna have a baby shower" Hope tells him. He nods, then grab a pen, a piece of paper, and an envelope. He writes the baby's gender, then seals it up.

He gives me the envelope, because I'm the one carrying the baby. We thank him, then leave. I continued to stare out of the window, though, I noticed that we weren't going back to my house. "Where are we going?" I ask. Either Hope didn't hear me, or she's ignoring me.

I sigh, and just wait until we arrive. We pull into the parking lot of the mall. I furrow my eyebrows, confused on why we're here. Hope gets out of the car, so I take that as a sign to follow. I put the envelope in the glove compartment, the get out, along with Lizzie.

We go inside, and Hope leads us to American Eagle. "Your baby bump isn't that big, so you should go up about a size in a half. A full size at most" Hope says. "Only jeans?" I ask. "Get whatever you want, Jo" she tells me. I smile, then get to shopping.

After about an hour and a half of shopping, I'd had everything I wanted. We even went to different stores. I got mostly jeans, but other clothes too. Once everything was paid for, we left. Hope carried most of my bags, but what she couldn't, Lizzie got.

We made our way home, and when we arrived, they brought the bags to my room. I went to the kitchen, because I'm hungry. I was just gonna eat a salad or something, because I didn't really feel like cooking.

Though, before I could, Hope walked in. "Do you want me to make you something?" she asks. "No, I got it" I answer. "Are you sure? It's not a problem" she follows. I thought about it for a moment. I mean, she is a really good cook. "Um, ok" I say.

She gives me a small smile, because I usually like to do things on my own. It's rare that I let either of them help me with things. "What're you making?" I ask. "It's a surprise, so go sit down, and watch tv or something" she tells me.

I roll my eyes with a small smile. "I'm gonna go take a shower" I say. She nods. "When I come back, you and Lizzie better not be arguing" I add, seriously. "Look, as long as she doesn't say anything to me, I won't say anything to her" she replies. I roll my eyes, and walk away.

As promised, a new chapter. I hope you all enjoy, and are happy. Have an amazing day/night, and I'll try to update whenever I can
