Get The Fuck Out

Liam suddenly felt like he couldn't breathe. Like he was drowning, but couldn't manage to get up for air. He tried to shift, to roll on his side, but he couldn't move. When his eyes finally blinked open he found that it was still dark in the room. No light had started to fade through the curtains. He looked down at his chest and huffed when he saw a large mound of fluff resting on his torso.

"Wolfy, buddy, I can't breathe," He chuckled. Nudging the wolf carefully.

Its head shot up and he looked at him. His tail wagged and he rolled off of Liam's chest onto his feet. Liam just scratched his head.

"Crap, what time is it?" He grabbed his phone from his bedside table. 5:45 it read. Liam raised an eyebrow at the wolf, still looking at him happily. "Why?" was all he asked, but the wolf's demeanor changed. He jumped down off the bed, making a noise that was just slightly too loud for Liam to be comfortable with.

"Do you wanna go outside or something, 'cause at this point I think you could manage a door or two." The wolf just kept walking until he reached the door. He nudged it open with his nose. Liam got up, finally, and made his way over to him.

"What is it?"

The wolf stepped forward a few more passes before he was standing in front of Isaac's door, and he sat down, letting out a very quiet whine.

Liam just stared blankly at the situation in front of him. The, seemingly, wild animals that Liam, for some reason, allowed in his home was now sitting just outside of the door where his brother was sleeping, whining at him.

'Uh, what are you doing?" He stepped closer to the wolf resting his hand on his head. "He really can't know you're here," Liam whispered, "He'd kill me.'

The wolf just whined again, lifting his paw up to the door, and Liam panicked moving his paw.

"Christ, stop, if he hears you he'll wake up."

He whined again, this time louder, and with more urgency, his ears fell bag and he nudged the door with his nose.

"Fine, I'll open the damn door, but you stay here, okay?"

His ears perked up slightly and his tail wagged.

Liam, very carefully, turned the door handle, stepping in front of the wolf to block him from potential view, and to avoid him running into the room. When he caught sight of Isaac his breath hitched. He was shaking, mumbling something incoherent, sweat covering his face.

"Isaac? Isaac!" Liam called rushing over to him and shaking him. "Isaac come on get up!"

Isaac stirred just enough for his eyes to blink open for a second, and they met Liam's.

"Hey, two nights in a row, ey. That hasn't happened in a while."

Isaac seemed to register what was happening, and what had happened. He sat up carefully, taking a deep breath.

"I don't remember that one," He mumbled, "But yeah I guess so. I think I've just been stressed."

Liam nodded, "Yeah, I'm not surprised. We still have about an hour and 15 before we have to leave. You hungry?" He chuckled just slightly.

Isaac smiled, "Pancakes two mornings in a row, how could I say no?"

Liam stood up and turned around, about to head down stairs when his mind finally caught up to him. The wolf wasn't by the door anymore, but he could easily be in the house still.

"Uh," He panicked, "uh, I'll start making them, meet you downstairs." He moved far too quickly down the hall, glancing into his empty room. He took to the stair swifty, scanning the living room as he did. When he rounded the corner at the bottom he felt a cool breeze. When he looked towards the kitchen the back door was open just slightly.
