2 Months Later

Mario POV

The saying, 'You don't really know what you have until it's gone' is very accurate. I didn't realize how much of a vital part of my life Jasmine was until she wasn't in it anymore.

She has been in a coma for two whole months. I've gone 2 whole months without having a conversation with Jasmine. It's been 2 whole months since Loriana has seen her mother. I chose to not bring Loriana to see Jasmine yet because I don't want Loriana to see Jasmine like that. It's hard enough for me to enter that hospital room everyday and see no progress with her. She the same when come and when I leave.

"Mr. Ramirez, there is a young lady here asking for you." Clair said, poking her head in to my office.

"You can send her down." I said. I sat up in my chair and tightened up my tie.

My door opened and the new girl that I hired at the club sat in front of me. I'm highly confused because none of my employees from both of my club has ever had to contact me so bad that they come directly to my office.

"Can I help you?" I asked her.

"Yes, I'm sorry to bother you Mr. Ramirez. I was wondering if you could help be locate my brother." She said then looked down.

"How am I suppose to do that, really. I'm sorry but I'm not a private detective. I'm just the guy that signs your paycheck." I said.

"Um, well you're friends with him, I would assume since you guys were together on his birthday. His name is Tyrese Pritchard. He came back to the club...looking for me but I turned him away." She said, shyly. I furrowed my eyebrows and leaned forward.

"You know that he has been looking for you for years? What did you do, change your name or something?"" I asked her.

"Well, after I snuck out of the system, I got in to some trouble and had to change my name for personal reason...so yeah. I only turned him away when he found me because I didn't want him to be disappointed. I didn't know it was him that day at his birthday though, or else I would have never danced on him. That just creeps me out now." She said.

"Here is his number and address." I said, writing them down on a sticky note. "If he ask, and he will, just say Mario gave it to you. Also, just tell him the truth. He is gonna be pissed at you but he is going to be happy." I said. I handed her the sticky note and she stood up.

"Thank you so much. This means a lot." She said.

"No problem." I said. She nodded and walked out of my office.

.................

"Thank you for watching Loriana. Is she asleep?" I ask Aniah.

"Yah. I just put her in bed. Mario, do you think that you should take a little break from work? Sort of adjust to having Jasmine in the condition that she is in." Aniah suggested.
