"And that's how we finally found who the cake-thief was," I said as we both laughed over an incident that had happened when I and Sejal Di were kids.
"You and your Di are crazy," Vedant said as he continued to laugh.
"Yeah, too much. She cares about me very much. You know what advice she'd given me on the first day of college?" I asked."I don't wanna-"
"Arey listen! She said - Amruta, stay away from the boys. They'll screw up your life. Bwhahahaha.""Amruta, we must-"
"Arey why are you hurrying so much-""Great... We just missed our stop!" Vedant sighed.
"Why didn't you tell me earl-" I paused as I realized I was the one who was putting him off. "Now, what will we do? It's my fault, right? I'm so sorry Vedant...""Okay okay first of all. Calm down. It's no big deal. We'll get off at the next stop and walk back to the class. It's not much," he said as we walked towards the door. The driver slowed down all of a sudden.
"Xnorbits mall???" I gasped as I jumped down when the bus stopped. "This was the next stop?"
It's all coming together. It's my destiny to watch an action movie today!
"Huh?" Vedant said as he jumped out too. "Ohh, this shopping mall? Yeah. I wonder how it looks from-"
"You know, Sejal Di takes me here every month for shopping! It has really cool dresses. There are a lot of things to do here too!" I exclaimed.
There's even a movie theatre here for the action movie!
No movie!"Ohhh. Niceee," Vedant hummed. He looked highly disinterested. I couldn't convince him. He pointed towards the opposite road. I could see our coaching class's blue building at its corner. "We need to walk a bit. Don't worry, it's not much," he said.
And just when I was thinking it was going to be another boring day in the class. The unexpected happened...
"Heya lovebirds!" Someone shouted. I recognized the voice. Uh-Oh.
Instant regret!
"Amrutaaaa!" Ishwari hugged me from behind before I could say something. Jay stood beside her meekly.
"Uh... Hi Jay," Vedant greeted him but he only smiled as a reply."What are you doing he-"
"It's Sunday Funday. Also, this is our first month anniversary. So, we are here to celebrate!" Ishwari cut short Vedant's question and held Jay's hand. "I and Jay are just made for each other. Don't you think?""Uh yeah..." I nodded. I signalled Vedant - let's escape before they invite us into this.
Vedant somehow understood what I was telling him and said, "Ok then. You guys enjoy! We'll meet you tomorrow!"
"But wait! What are you two doing here?" Ishwari said with a suspicious tone.
Gulp.
"Nobody goes to classes or school on Sunday, isn't it?" Ishwari grinned. "I suppose even you aren't. Right??"
"Ya I mean... We were just..." Vedant stumbled.
"We were going to the mall," I blurted out."Ohh. Wonderful! What are you waiting for then? We'll join you too," Ishwari said.
We tried our best to deny but Ishwari dragged us in anyways. We wandered around aimlessly throughout the mall till Ishwari stopped abruptly at one point.
"Amruta, why are you in your uniform?" she questioned.
Aha! Finally, she noticed!
Any tips?
