"Good morning Vizz!" I greeted as I entered the library. It was early morning and she was still looking pretty hazy.
"Good morning Mohini/Amruta," she remarked as she saw me coming. She continued putting on her lipstick as she pouted in front of her pocket mirror.
Damn.
"Someone is going to get a sweet kiss it seems," I teased as I picked one of her lipsticks from her purse.
"You are becoming more and more naughty as you are getting old," she said as she snatched the lipstick from me. "No cosmetics till you are 18!"
Who's gonna tell her?
"Vizz aunty, I heard you got a rishta?" I asked.
"Na, never. I won't get myself locked in this marriage, love relationship thing ever," she said as she made a disgusted face."Come on. It's not that bad," I commented as I gave her a flying kiss.
"What's on your mind Mohini/Amruta?" she said as she enacted catching my flying kiss."Huh?"
"You came here to tell me something right?""You how did you-"
"I'm your... Aunt Viz na," she smiled as she kept away all her cosmetics away. "Now tell me about it.""Things are getting really good. I have friends. I have a goal. I... I like living my life," I said.
"That's great. But this isn't what you were going to tell me about," she said as she folded my arms across her chest. She's determined!
I know."It's about Vedant. I think you are wrong about him. He's a nice guy-"
"No. No. No. This isn't right... I told you to stay away from him!" Viz started to panic as she got up from her chair."I can't... I like him... I mean I like being around him," I defended.
"No Mohini!... and Amruta... Vedant isn't what you think. He is just pretending to be nice. Anyone associated with that metal can't be good. It has to be a bad person!" she said as she grabbed me by both of my shoulders."You have to trust me on this Mohini/Amruta. Your whole life will get screwed up. Screw him!" She yelled.
"VIZ AUNTY!!!" I screamed as I pulled myself away from her. "I'll not leave him. I don't know what you are talking about. But clearly, you have some misunderstanding.""Mohini/Amruta!"
"Just stop Viz aunty. You are being unreasonable," I said.I think that we should leave now. The quarrel will just get worse if we continue.
"I don't want to hurt you Viz aunty. If you feel insecure because you think Vedant will take your place, then please don't. You always have a special place in my heart," I said as I exited the library.
This is the first time I've seen Viz aunty panic. This isn't what she is...
Yeah, you are right. I feel she's being overprotective and insecure...I climbed up the stairs and made my way to our class. The first bench was empty as usual. Ishwari who was sitting alone on the second bench-
Am I hallucinating?
Even I'm stunned. Ishwari is crying???I rushed to her and sat next to her. "Ishwari, are you okay??" I asked.
"Huh? Amruta? Aeeeeeee," she wailed as she rested her face on my shoulder. "Jay left me... He says he doesn't want to see my face ever again..."What the fu-
I noticed Jay standing across the window, staring blankly at the opposite road. He had a serious expression on his face. As if he was going to kill someone. Gulp.
