Dear Shadows,
I stare at the white walls of my cage. My mind use to run wild with thoughts, now it sinks deep into my memories to replay a single moment. I lay still, asleep and calm until a voice broke through the silence, "what a glorious feeling, I'm happy again..". I smiled opening my eyes slightly to glimpse the owner of the angelic voice singing softly. He sat leaning back on His chair, a brightly lit screen tearing through the darkness of our room. As I moved, his voice faltered and He turned towards me. "I heard you.. Are you awake?", I give no response squeezing my eyes shut and covering my mouth to stifle the laughter bubbling up inside me. I hear the creaking of His chair followed by an eerie silence. I slowly open my eyes shocked to see His face directly in front of my own, His glowing eyes staring directly into mine, a grin painted on his face. I squeal as he jumped onto the bed pulling me into His arms laughing. Once the calm had set upon us He brushed my hair sprawled across my face away and tilted my head upwards drawing me into a passionate kiss. He broke away our gaze connecting, "You're mine Madelynn, now and forever".
