Chapter 30 Betrayed?

Jaiden's body washed up on the shores of the beach.

Jaiden opened her eyes in a blurry vision, She felt a hammering headache in her head, her clothes were entirely soaked in wet sand and stained onto the clothes like glue. Then she heard footsteps approaching her. She looked up with her blurry vision and two people approached her grabbed her by the arm, and handcuffed her. Her vision readjusted and she found herself in a kneeling position with her hands tucked behind her back while people in black Military Gear surrounded her with Ari on one of their shoulders.

"I knew this moment would come" Ari replied

"What? I thought we are friends?" Jaiden replied in disbelief

"I don't care if we are friends, nor you took care of me! I only care because you set us up on this death mission and got us killed!" Ari replied with wrath.

"I'm sorry I didn't have control over my body, that Katan voice had control over me, and used me to manipulate you guys, I'm completely innocent!" Jaiden cried.

Then the people in the black military gear advanced backward Jaiden saw a news reporter facing a camera with two cameramen filming her. She is now known as a criminal.

SREK walked up to Jaiden her suit was tainted with dust from the concrete, with some rips on her business suit. She walked up to Jaiden with a frowned expression. Jaiden looked at her, absolutely knowing that the worst is coming.

"I didn't expect you at first, but god knows you had a damn plan all along," SREK said with distaste coming from her calm voice.

SREK turned and walked away. "Take her" She replied.

Then the people in military gear lifted her up from the kneeling down position, Jaiden slammed her head against one military personnel, "No! I never intended to cause harm! Ari! You gotta believe me, Katan took my...."

Suddenly a tranq dart needled into her back and Jaiden collapsed onto the floor.

The personnel that was headbutted by Jaiden dusted off his vest, "Thanks, Mate!" The personnel replied.

"Let's head back!" Garth commanded.

And a dozen personnel loaded Jaiden onto a black police lifeguard boat. The cameramen followed Them as they loaded Jaiden onto the vessel.

Garth and SREK followed personnel into the police lifeguard boat, with Tofu on Garth's shoulder.

Tofu looked at the situation with a bit of disbelief so he asked "You sure, she is behind all of this" he asked

"Well there is a lot of evidence that she is behind this," Garth replied

Garth stepped into the lifeboat, and suddenly a loud Owl Cry heard it when skies and everybody's attentions were drawn to the Cry.

"It's coming" Jaiden replied in a silent gasp.

The Sound echoed across the sky again, and a glow flashed into one of the clouds as it gets lighter and lighter. Eventually, what came down was the same Owl that Jaiden saw killed that big bird robot.

The Owl came scooping down towards the lifeboat. It slammed its talons onto the lifeboat, knocking everyone in the lifeboat off. Jaiden came crashing down into the waters. She got up by pushing her hands against the sand and ran towards the store to see the Owl intercept the entire personnel force. Jaiden took this chance and ran towards the city with her handcuffs.

Garth emerged from the waters and lifted SREK out of the waters. He saw Jaiden running towards the city.

"Everyone! don't let her run away" Garth pointed his fingers at Jaiden.
