Chapter 9 Insanity

Daniel walked into the ABCD device room, he can see people in white radiation suits cleaning up the dead corpses of the fallen personnel.

Daniel walked up to the gate of the control room and an elevator took him up the control room where he saw Henry there tapping on his holographic screen.

Daniel asked, "Henry, what are you doing?" Daniel said.

Henry turned his head "I'm rebooting the Animal Brain Control Device, some reason the activation chip in the device seems to be jammed" Henry said.

"Yeah quite unfortunate, The Red Codes planned a raid on us," Daniel said.

Henry when back to doing his usual thing, "I'm fascinated how the two birds are able to talk like a human" Henry replied

"like the blue bird and the green one?" Daniel replied

"Yes" Henry confirmed. 

Daniel walked mindlessly around the room until something caught his eye. He saw a photograph of Henry's wife and Henry, it seems to be taken in the late 90s because of the old and very saturated lighting.

Daniel then picked up the photograph and walked up to Henry.

"Is this your photo?" Daniel said.

Henry stopped.

"Excuse me, is this you..."

Henry stood up from his chair and stared at Daniel.

"Sorry if I..." Henry suddenly grabbed Daniel by the shirt, Daniel panicked as he shook like a fish out of water.

Henry's fist grabbed onto his shirt tighter with an still expression on his face.

"Henry......what....are...you" Daniel replied crippling. Henry then threw Daniel against the wall and again grabbing him tighter than ever.

"You know how corrupted humans are," Henry replied.

"W...what..." Daniel struggle to speak words.

"Daisy, my wife committed suicide when I just married her. THE CAUSE!" Henry screamed

"Please.... just...let me....go" Daniel slivered.

"Because an murder faked the suicide and was never caught" Henry replied in anger.

"Yeah...it's......unfortunate" He replied.

"And the fact... I have been playing this for long, I grew up with no parents, and people just sitting enjoying life makes me angry" Henry said.

Daniel kicked Henry's arm the one that clutched him and escaped his grip and ran away. But Henry fired a gun at his leg and Henry grabbed him once again.

Daniel's breath intensified.

Henry looked at the burn scar on his neck and was in a kind of disgust.

"The Icon of sin" Henry replied, then pointed his gun at Daniel.

"No...NO, PLEASE I HAVE AN..."

Bang!

Henry dropped the body and blood covered the floor of his room, Henry knew he would be in Jail for this or worst death.

"Sign.. Guess I need a mop" Henry said.

Henry went out of his office and walked up to a group of people in radiation suits mopping the floor.

"Excuse can I borrow this mop if yours," Henry asked.

"Sure," The guy in The radiation suit replied and gave Henry the mop.

Henry then ran into his room and began mopping Daniel's corpses and grabbing a piece of the garbage bag and wrapping the body in it, and leaving it under his desk. Henry then continued to mop the blood off the floor.

Henry sweated in relief, "Phew, I have to return this mop" Henry then turned back and ran out of the room.

"It's weird how our CEO is using an mop?" One guy in the radiation suit said.

Henry stopped in relief and dropped the mop and ran, "sorry gotta work on something else" Henry said.

Henry got on his office chair and pressed on a button.

The ABCD Device lowered to the ground, and railings, pillars, all sunk down into the mechanical floor.

Henry pressed another button, and a massive chunk of the wall was opened up, and it revealed a giant deactivated bird robot around 50 meters. It had claw drills, colorless eyes, a long cable reptile-like tail with another arm drill wrapped onto its ends, a leg like an elephant with 4 eagle-like talons, and a green orb at its pelvis.

"Sorry Tofu I might have to use your invention to the work," Henry said.

"What the hell is that?" An voice from one of the person in the radiation suits echoed.

Henry ran out of the room and ran towards the two guys.

"Well, just one of the company's projects you know" Henry said.

Henry ran back to his room and tapped on his holographic tablet, and pressed on the cruise ship button and marked its trajectory towards Japan.

"we must kill it" An voice echoed into Henry.
