Rugby match

The school had got invited or at least the year 11s from both Higgs and Truham, as the boys rugby team had advanced and were now playing in under 16 semi-finals. If I'm going to be honest I have no idea what-so-ever what rugby is about.
We got into pairs and walked through the gate, Elle and I arm in arm linked together like an old married couple, mimicking the couple in front of us which happened to be our best friends Tara and Darcy.
The boys school was much larger with a bigger field and an actual Astro attached to the school. However, what made it not so wonderful was the piles of uncontrollable little and graffiti everywhere. We got to the field and took a seat on the grass closest to the pitch. I only knew one person on the team and that person was Charlie, scratch that I Knew about Nick too because of Charlie but I didn't Know him. Elle and Toa had gone off for god knows what and I was left with my own devices, I was going to kill them all when they came back. It was a shame Isaac wasn't there because I could really use a good old chat about a new book I was reading. The book thief. Which I was going to recommend to Isaac, but unluckily he chose not to come in - or his immune system did for him.

The match had started and the players had all came out to a round of cheers and applause. During, Nick Nelson had scored 4 try's and practically had the whole school at his feet in awe. By the end of the match the score was 26-14 to truham. And when everyone was celebrating Charlie and Nick had came over to us.
"Hi everyone!" Charlie exclaims.
"Hi," we all day back with the same enthusiasm.
"Oh congratulations Nick is it, on scoring four try's." I say facing him with a slight curling of my lips.
"Thank you y/n."

How did he know my name?
