Chemistry

"Are you coming to Harry's party?" My friend Tara asks me as I sit down in chemistry. "No I don't have anything to wear." I shrug and get my book out of my bag, only to find out that we didn't need it anyway as we were doing an experiment. "You have plenty to wear, it's not like anyone will dare to talk to you with Nick hovering over you like a hawk." She laughs as she gets up from her seat to go and grab us some goggles. "He does not!" I reply putting the goggles over my eyes and then greeting Nick who had only just came in. He went to the opposite end of the classroom to do the experiment with his friends. "Literally everyone sees it!" Tara practically screams out as Darcy turns out way after grabbing the chemicals we needed. Tara looked towards Darcy in hopes of her agreeing with the statement, it took her a few seconds before she knew what we were on about. "Oh yeah he does." Darcy laughs as she sets up the experiment for us. "Well I think it's only you two who see this," I say proudly and turn my back walking across the classroom towards the test tubes.

On my arrival I was met with both Darcy and Tara struggling to lite the Bunsen burner so I set aside my test tubes and lit it for them. I then looked up to see Nick looking my direction with a smile on his face. I smiled back and fixed my hair as I was pretty sure the heat from the room had messed it up one way or another. I turned to Darcy who had a large smirk on her face, "You like him don't you?" She asks whilst opening her mouth a little. "I have no idea what you're talking about."

I then got called by Tara who was on the other side of the classroom to come and help her with setting up other people's experiments. I got set up with nicks group and had accidentally brushed hands with him a few times, which I'm positively sure made me blush like mad.

After I was done I returned back to Darcy, "Chemistry." A bit confused at the time I had just replied a simple, "Yeah well we are in it right now?" A smile radiated off of her face and she was about to burst out laughing at my stupidity.
