The crew and directors were hosting a party to celebrate the launch of our film heartstopper. To be honest it didn't feel like a film it felt like a small school project me and a set of close friends had put together, but still non the less impactful.
I had decided to wear something or the borderline of fancy but still not enough to seem overdressed as it was just a small gathering. Everyone else had seemed to have the same idea, or at least from everyone who was their before me as I have a tendency to arrive super early to important or even non important events. Basically everyone I saw was wearing either a cute picnic dress or a button up top and trousers of some sort.
I had sat down with Yasmin and Joe while we waited for the rest of the cast to show up, likely we were going to be waiting a while.
Shortly Kizzy and Rhea showed up, followed by Corinna and then Will. Sebastian and Cormac then arrived and only Kit was left. How typical of him.
"With all this fame you would think Kit could afford to be on time," I joked everyone laughing along with me.
"I'm here!!!Hope you didn't miss me too much while I was gone." Kit had walked in and said hi to everyone then came towards me and the other crew members who had been waiting on him for at least 1 1/2 hours. He placed himself next to me and leant back on the wall that I was leaning on. I didn't want to be annoying so I got up off the wall but then felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist and pull me back to the same wall as where they were coming from. I was so flustered that I just stopped and zoned out and the rest of the night became a complete blur.
