Liam's POV
I just got off the bus and observed my surroundings. I transferred here in Beacon Hills High School. I am here to have a fresh start. Let's just say that I had a little accident last semester and... Uh.. want to start over here in Beacon Hills High School. Plus, I heard that the Lacrosse team is ineed of new players. I guess it's kind of fate.
I was disturbed from my thoughts and brought back to reality when Mason kept calling my name and kept snapping his fingers in front of me.
"Hellooo? Earth to Liam!" he said calling my attention
"What?" I asked and looked at him with my eyebrows furrowed.
"Did you just hear what I said?" he asked
Honestly, to tell you guys the truth... I have no idea what Mason just said. I wasn't paying him much attention.
"I.. uhh..uhm" I stuttered trying to concentrate, maybe just maybe I payed a little attention to him on the bus ride here and maybe remember even the tiniest of bit on what he was trying to tell me. I scratched the back of my head when my eyes landed on a familiar blue jeep with Ansel seated at the back of the vehicle.
"Hey Look! Ansel's here!" I said trying to sound so surprised just for Mason to forget about our topic.
The vehicle parked in front of us. A baby blue jeep. When the engine stopped, a boy came out quickly.
"Hey!" Ansel, one of our best friends greeted me and Mason.
"Hey, Ansel!" I greeted back. Two juniors hop off the jeep then huddle together to peek from the skinny guy's phone.
Lastly, a dirty blonde haired girl with loose curls came out of the car. It's Ansel's twin sister, Anais. According to my observations in just a short period of time, Ansel and Anais are quite different despite being twins. They're clearly not like Sharpay and Ryan Evans from High School Musical. Ansel was more of a chill and laid back person, he always looks for fun and oftens gets himself into trouble. Anais is just well Anais... all I do know is that she's hardworking, and loves to read books and paint. Oh and she also have these habits were she fiddles her fingers and bites her lip.
Me and Anais aren't that close, she is such a quiet girl, sure we had a conversation before... I think five or seven. We don't really get along in most of the times. When Ansel invited me and Mason to his home, we were getting so loud and wild from playing video games and turning up the music that Anais scolded us because she can't concentrate on whatever she was doing. But of course Ansel being Ansel didn't listen. And I remembered those sweet sweet words she said about me,
'Ansel, it's bad enough that you just influenced Mason with your annoying and loud attitude when it comes to playing video games and you decided to bring him?' she complained and gestured to me then shot daggers at me, 'Seriously, you're wilder and louder and more annoying than Mason' she said to me.
So we didn't exchange words but instead just nodded and smiled. But deep down there is still some grunge in there. Seriously, I've been trying to be nice to her all the time... trust me. I've been lending a hand in carrying her books, opening doors for her and I even bought like two books for her . I don't know what is up her anyway, she's not like that to Mason or Garrett...Oh that's right, that's because they didn't ruin a masterpiece of hers, while playing baseball at their backyard.
And I still remember it clearly, Me and Ansel were playing baseball, hey lacrosse isn't the only sport we know. While Anais, on the other hand, was also there, she sat far away from us as possible. She was painting a tree in their backyard, a sycamore tree to be exact. What is she like? Too caught up in the movie 'Flipped'? Okay, fine I watched that movie, it sucks anyway, it's only for hopeless romantic teenage girls.
