We walked in the rain for around 20 minutes before entering a decently sized home.

"Take your shoes off here. The bathroom is the first door down the hall. Shower, and I'll get you a change of clothes."

I hesitated to move, a scowl spread across my mug. The child returned my frown with an eyebrow raised.

"What are you waiting for?"

"Who the hell are you, you brat?'' I spat and they scoffed.

" If you shower first I'll answer all questions you want. Just hurry up. You smell like crap."

Exiting the shower I was greeted by a set of pajamas, a tooth brush and some toothpaste. I finished freshening myself up before heading to the living room, where the youth was sitting. I sat in the armchair across from them, waiting for them to speak.

"Are you gonna ask or not?"

"You already know what I'm going to ask, so why waste my breath?"

"Just ask a question."

I paused and pondered on what to inquire of first.

"Give me your name and age, as well as who you work for."

"(___), fifteen years old. I'm just a lackey who used to work under you."

"A lackey of mine you say..."

I couldn't put my finger on it, but something about this brat felt off from the moment I had laid eyes on them.

"Why have you brought me here?"

"Your situation piqued my interest. That's all."

I sat silent, taking in the child's features, until it finally clicked.

"You!-"

"I'm surprised you hadn't realized sooner."

"You're apart of the gang of hooligans that dared turn against me!"

I shot out of my seat ready to attack, but when I attempted to summon my stand it was to no avail.

"Calm down you geezer. Haven't I made it clear I've brought you here to help you?"

Reluctantly, I sat back down before questioning them again.

"What happened to my stand?"

"What do you think happened to it?"

My body stiffened when I realized.

"Then... How am I still be alive?"

"Dunno. But I have a hunch."

"And what would that be?"

"Not telling. Anymore questions?"

"Don't mess with me brat."

I grit my teeth and they smirked.

"What the hell's so funny?"

"Nothing. You hungry? I stocked the fridge yesterday."

"I'm not done asking questions."

"Then get on with it already."

"I assume you're a stand user as well, correct?"

"Maybe."

"What is your stand? And I also know that you're aware of the curse that was placed onto me. So how were you able to get rid of it?"

Without a word they reached behind them and pulled out a box. They opened it and showed me the object inside.

My eyes went wide.

"How did you get that?" I reached my hand out to grab the arrowhead that laid on the silky white cushion, but before I could touch it the child slapped my hand away.

"Idiot. Don't touch it unless you want to be sent back into your eternal suffering. If you do Im not gonna waste my time helping you again. I'm gonna help you break the loop for good, but we don't have much time."

"How long?"

"Less than a month. Maybe two and a half weeks at best. That's about how long my stands power will last."

"What do we need to do?"

"You're aware of Golden experience, the stand of Giorno Giovanna? We're going to need to get rid of it, the same way he got rid of your stand. But the question is how?..."

They began mumbling to themself.

"Id also like to make the lad suffer while we're at it."

"Have you forgotten what team I'm on? Hear me when I say this, Im not only doing this for your benefit. We're going to get rid of Gornios stand without harming him. You have no other choice but to do as I say."

I said nothing and they continued.

"The only reason we're able to pull this off is because of the arrow, and my stand. Which brings me to another point. If I am to die or if the arrow is broken, your loop will initiate once more. If the arrow falls out of a certain range of me, the loop will begin again. Get what I'm saying?"

They glared at me, my face a scrunching into a grimace.

"I won't try anything... And I'm curious, what are you getting out of this?"

They paused, a wide grin spreading across their features.

"Nothing much. But I know it'll be interesting to see the results of our endeavor."

"You say that as though you already know what the outcome of all this will be. But do you even have a plan?"

"Of course I do."

"And what would that be?"

"Not telling. But I'll let you know when you're needed."

I frowned.

"I have one more question, and I ask that you answer it this time."

"What is it?"

"What is your stand? And how did you come to posses an arrow?"

"Thats two questions... But I'm only gonna answer one. I got the arrow from some old dude with crusty blonde hair. I think the geezer said his name was Hol Horse. He told me he stole the arrow from a dead lady he used to work with named Enya. I asked him for it but he wouldn't let up, so I ended up stealing it from him."

"Interesting..."

"Anyway, you should get some sleep signore. You can use the first room down the hall on the left."

They yawned and stretched before standing.

"My room is right across so if you need anything just knock. I'm a pretty light sleeper."

With that they exit the living room, leaving me to ponder on everything I was told.
