Authors POV:

The next morning you headed out early to see if you could find Giorno.

Upon arriving at his house you didn't bother to knock, instead opening the door and waltzing right in.

"Giorno my love, are you home?~"

"Haven't I told you to knock before you come in? What if I was naked."

The blonde remained seated at his desk, his back facing you.

"Well, I wouldn't mind."

"I know. That's the problem."

"Let's play a round of chess! I brought one of the boards from my collection!"

You flopped down on the boy's bed, rummaging through your bag before pulling out a thick old wooden chess board.

"I can't. I'm busy."

"Busy with what?"

"School."

"Since when have you cared about school?"

You scoffed, his face twisted in irritation.

"Maybe you should try going for once."

"Even if I don't go I still do the work. I get printed packets every month to complete for each class."

He rolled his eyes and continued to scribble on his paper.

"... Bucciarati told me you were looking for me yesterday. What did you want?"

"To play chess of course."

"I figured. Why don't you ask someone else?"

"I do. But I like playing with you the most~."

"I don't understand you."

"So can we play? I'll leave you alone for the rest of the week."

His pencil stopped its movement after hearing your statement. He turned his chair before standing to then sit on the floor. You smiled and sat across from him, laying down the board to begin setting up the pieces.
