Rescue mission

Layla woke up in the infirmary she was worried about Piff since she was sleep flying outside of the window. She ran out of the infirmary and ran into Faragonda and the nurse lady. How are you feeling Miss Faragonda asked her. She told them she was feeling better and Miss Faragonda was surprised by this considering the under-realm that Layla appears to have come from that its affects can last up to a couple of weeks and also told her it could sap away parts of their memory. Now what is it you were looking for? Layla thinks for a moment and then tells them about Piff and how she had been flying out of the window in her sleep and had to go get to her. Hurry which way to the quad? She asked panicked. But when she ran off she wasn't wearing her normal clothes she had been wearing the infirmary clothes. But Layla didn't seem to care or notice.

However, the first door she finds is locked and then she accidently crashes into another fairy that was excited about her grade. Layla apologized as she kept running exclaiming it was an emergency. The other fairies were concerned she was jogging in her pjs but all Layla cared about was if Piff was ok and had to wake her up before she got hurt. Piff eventually wakes up but she flies into a classroom. Piff we can't play right now get back here! But she flies into the open window of our classroom (outfit 26) . Bloom and I had worked together to do a presentation on what we were learning about in our class with Wizgiz last time with balance for light and dark and then Piff came in. Oh look at that class we have a visitor. Piff wake up Flora tells her. As Piff begins to fall again. Before she can Layla runs in just in time to catch her. As we all applaud.

Once class is over Piff is once again asleep and it was just us and Miss Faragonda. We'd talked to her about going back to the under-realm but she had told us no that when she went there she had been gotten out. Stella reminded her we'd got to Sparx and defeated an abominable snow creature that we could do anything. Asked her to give us a chance. She told us that she loved our courage and our confidence but our powers probably wouldn't even work in Shadowhunt because that's just how it was. She told us it wasn't up to us that this realm acted on its own and it was very unpredictable. But what she had to understand was that we had to save the pixies and that the last time she went down there she had to take a test and she and her classmates mostly failed. And said we wouldn't want to take it and she left the room. But Bloom and I chased after her I couldn't tell if everyone else did as well it was too important that we go. Well maybe not me I'd stay there I just couldn't help but think had I left that a place that dark would try and consume and corrupt me and make me turn evil. My powers were destruction and unpredictable like the place they all wanted to go.

Of course I wanted to save the pixies but we'd find another way. And Icy had powers like me and what if that's all anyone would see my powers as being dangerous?! I didn't want anyone to get hurt. Stella and Bloom were light and Techna had technology but it probably wouldn't work down there and Layla already knew the ins and outs and there would be nothing living down there and if Musa used her sound powers I can't imagine what would happen to them if she used them in something like a cave. Which is exactly what Miss Faragonda had told them the part about finding a different way. Besides I wasn't sure if I'd had full bonds with any of the other girls minus Bloom but now that we weren't even sisters I still had no idea who I was and the only person that knew was hard to get in contact to mostly because she's just a ghost now or whatever. I can't imagine a pixie would want to bond with me if I couldn't with the other Winx girls. I had been unconscious what felt like most of my first year here. And when I wasn't we were trying to figure out who we were I felt like I couldn't properly bond with someone else until I bonded with myself first.

But then Bloom said we wanted to take the test. I just stood there with my arms crossed with a concerned look on my face lost in thought I did want to help but I didn't think this was safe. We told her if we failed we'd back off and when she told us that more 3 quarters of the students failed Techna told her that a 25% chance was better than no chance at all. She led us to the great hall while telling us it was like the simulator if we got hurt we'd feel real pain and if we couldn't use our powers we couldn't do anything to protect ourselves and said we'd try it right in the great hall. The scenery changed around us Flora and Musa went first they transformed into their fairy forms but Techna tried and couldn't transform and Flora's magic disappeared and Musa's powers made the cave shake and then Bloom Stella and Layla fought monsters and the 3 of them had past. Techna and Flora were ok with the explanation of their powers not working but Musa had tears in her eyes. Farrah Miss Faragonda turned to me did you not try at all? She looked at me with a face that seemed to say that she already knew what I was going to say.
