In Palladium's class (outfit 33) we were learning a spell how to unlock a padlock with magic. He gave us some complicated hard to say spell. And he told us it was complicated that we had to say it exactly right or it wouldn't come out the way we wanted it to. He had Bloom and I come up and show everyone how the spell worked. He said that it was Exspeedio-cataynan and it when Bloom said it the lock unlocked. But then he said see what happens if you change just one letter. Then told me how to say it the second time. He said change the second n to an s. And when I did cats appeared. He then started telling us how in Elvish it had this specific kind of symbol. But Flora was having a hard time paying attention. She was daydreaming about Helia.

Her daydream started with a monster going after her friends and how he was her hero and then he picked her up in his arms brings her to an alter and there was a man there and the man turned around to be our teacher. He wanted to know if she was paying attention. She said yes he said ok then recite the spell. She said Exagero-cataynas. And the cats grew bigger. They knocked him over and the rest of us laughed. In the potion lab someone was doing a spell where green orbs were coming out and melting into the walls I'm sure it would be important later but for now most of us minus Layla and Flora were walking in the hallway made me wonder where she was. Musa was talking to Stella about how sun tanning was bad for our skin. But Stella didn't she said it looked good. Bloom and I wanted to work on our healings. And for that I met up with Jack. Meanwhile the two that were not with us needed to talk to each other. Flora wanted to talk to her about Helia.

We went to a neutral space the others were buys on homework Stella felt that was boring. I only used spells that had minimal damage. Something I knew I could heal easily without killing him or using blood magic. He had told me that he didn't mind being a practice dummy. But I still didn't want to hurt him. What's your pain tolerance like? High he told me. Lucky you I don't have a high tolerance to pain. Does this hurt? I asked him. Turning one of my finger nails into part ice it was a little thicker than a needle. It's really cold and beginning to sting but not so much pain as just cold. Ok then let me know when it hurts. Not that I want to hurt you. It's ok. I'll be fine it's just a little blood. What? I panic. As the ice slid in sharper. Ouch he exclaimed. Oh Jack I'm so sorry. Tears sprang from my eyes. Are you ok? Hey, hey I told you it's just a little blood. Just a little pain. I don't wanna like impale you! I scream at him. Sh, sh. It's ok I'm ok. He tossed away my frozen tears. All you have to do is.... He put my hand on his wrist.... Put your hand here and say.... Heal. Like you did before. I can't I can't. I shake my head. This is no different than the first time. It was just a little blood just like it was now. Repeat after me we'll do it together. Heal He started. 4 letters. Heal. I repeated.

See look at that. His wrist glowed. See all better. Even better than a band aid. He put his hand on my cheek scrunched at my hair before pushing it back. As I leaned into his touch. Meanwhile back at the school like I was telling you Flora and Layla were talking about Helia. How did you know it was about him? She asked Layla. I was just gonna ask if you could help me. Layla admitted she saw her write his name in her notebook but Flora was worried about talking to him. And why wouldn't she talk to him what was wrong with her telling him that she liked him? But what if he didn't like her back? She asked Layla to find out for her if he liked her back. Asked if she could ask Chatta to help her since she knew everyone's secrets. Layla said she would help her and then Flora hugged her which surprised Layla. Meanwhile I felt like I'd had enough healing practice for now on an actual person it was time to learn more about it. So we went to the library where Bloom was and started looking for books but the hard part was that it was very frustrating because it looked like the books hadn't been taken out in ages. And since it was something we both could do we needed all the help we could get.

We kept looking until a book fell off the shelf by itself. Would you look at that? Jack turned his head to the side to look at the fallen book. It read "healing spells, charms, and potions." Which was exactly what we were looking for. So that was a start at least. Outside the pixies had set up this game kind of like football. Chatta was playing but also seemed to be narrating before she tripped and fell into the water. Digit and Lockette were playing as a team and Amore and Chatta were working together. Tune and Snowflake were a team playing together and I think the little orange one was out there too and Piff was there somewhere as well she probably fell asleep somewhere. And everyone was having fun and laughing and having a great time. When it comes to her friends and it's non contact based her powers were like a Jack Frost snowflake everyone having fun and being happy. And then the green orb things go and hit each of them. It knocks them out. This was not good. But it wasn't all just right away. They kept playing Chatta was out. The others make their way through the maze. Tune was next.
