A few hours later my mom had come to pick up Skylar. So I was now taking care of Hailey. She's been non stop throwing up. I called the doctor and they says she has the stomach flu. I was starting to get worried cause she wasn't able to keep anything down including water and she was very pale. I was walking her back from the bathroom when she grabbed my arm. "Chandler..room spinni-" she slurred then passed out. "HAILEY" I called catching her, "babe...BABE! Can you hear me! HAILEY!" I put her down gently and ran and grabbed my phone and dialed 911.

"911 what's your emergency"

"My gir-..Fiance passed out she been  throwing up all day the doctor said she had the flu".

Ok is she breathing?

"Yes, she breathing"

"You said she been throwing up all day, has she been able to keep down any liquids".

"No, she can't keep anything down. Oh and idk if this is important but she had a baby 7 weeks ago".

"Ok anything else"?

"No idk please just hurry she's so pale and shes burning up now".

"Their on the way, can you get a cold washcloth or something to cool her down"

"Yeah one sec" I put the phone down and ran to bathroom. "Ok I got it and put it on her head.

"The EMTs should be at the door"

"Ok thank you so much" I hung up and ran to the door.

"She's in here" I said leading them to her. "Her names Hailey"
"You the boyfriend?" One of the guys asked "yeah...well fiance we just got engaged yesterday, they told me to tell you she um had a baby almost 2 months ago. I didn't know if it could be related the doctor said she just had the flu" I said panicked.

"Hey calm down we're gonna help her" he said then turned to Hailey "Hailey can you hear me!" He said loudly rubbing her collarbone to try to get her awake. I held her hand, the other emt took her vitals. "Her blood pressure and heartrate is kinda slow and with the vomiting my guess she's extremely dehydrated". "Is she gonna be ok" I asked. "Yes we're gonna put an IV in and get her to hospital"

Once they got her on the ambulance I climbed in with her and we headed to the hospital. A few minutes later Hailey started to wake up. "Chandler!" She exclaimed scared noticing where she was. "Shhh hey I'm right here" I cooed grabbing her hand.  "You're ok we're headed to the hospital, you passed out" one of the emts said checking her iv. "you scared the shit outta be baby" I chuckled kissing her. "I'm sorry I just was so weak" she said her voice horse from the vomiting. "Hey I called my mom, shes gonna meet us at the hospital with Skylar".

1 hour later

We had been at the hospital for awhile and finally found out what was wrong. Hailey had a common   postpartum infection, they were giving her fluids and antibiotics and she had to stay overnight. I felt horrible, "Chandler it's not your fault it's been developing over the last couple weeks it wasn't because of last night" she told me for the 100th time while grabbing my hand to make me sit down.  Just then my Mom walked in with Skylar and Hailey smiled " Hi Skylar" i cooed taking her from my mom. " You wanna see Mommy" i smiled placing her on my hip and walking over to Hailey. I sat down in the bed and Skylar cried so i handed her to Hailey.
