Author's note: this takes place within the same au I created for the pervious one shot, so make sure you read through that one first in order to understand this one. So, this one shot is centering around a play at Peter's high school telling the ancestor story of Assassin's Creed: Black Flag, with Peter playing Edward Kenway and Wanda playing Anne Bonnie. I first got the idea for this story from the incredible song from Miracle of Sound with the same name as the title of this one shot so follow this link to give it a listen (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I1HICfXbFBM). Now, as you can imagine if you had played the game, I don't want to literally recap the entire story of Black Flag right now, and it's for this reason I'm also not going to list every single character in-story who will play the parts of all of Black Flag's characters. So as a compromise, I thought I would have some moments in the story of Peter and Wanda, and maybe one or two other characters, reenacting scenes from the game as practice for the play, and show them practicing their dances for the song that inspired this play, and yes I'm including the song because it's just that good. Also, the story of Black Flag in at least this version of the MCU is going to be their real recorded history of what actually happened. That's right. I'm going to boldly establish the events of AT LEAST the first seven mainline games are real history in the MCU, or at least this version of it. (You go big or you go back home 😉). This takes place roughly a year after the events of the first one shot and the story is told in third-person this time, but still from Wanda's perspective.

The list came in as Peter highly anticipated the results. The teacher read the results of which students/volunteers were given the respective rolls to retell the historical epic of Edward Kenway. "And the parts for the respective characters go as follows," the teacher announced. "Peter Parker as Edward Kenway. Ned Leeds as Steed Bonnet. Miles Morales as Adewalé. Myself as governor Torres. Flash Thompson as Bartholomew Roberts. Felicia Hardy as James Kidd and Mary Read. Wanda Maximoff as Anne Bonnie." That was all Peter needed to hear. He, Ned, and Miles all whispered to one another excitedly, beaming with anticipation for what was to come.

Wanda however was uneasy. She was one of the few outside volunteers for the play when the school's history, drama, and music classes ran out of suitable candidates to fill in the proper roles within the play. She decided to participate, as she had no doubt Peter would win the role of Edward Kenway, a role he was so passionate about, he grew out his hair, dyed it blonde, and worked hard on a Welsh accent with a few foreign exchange students from his school. Wanda had hoped this could be a fun bonding experience for her and Peter, but upon further reading into the script of the play, she found that Edward Kenway, at least as far as Wanda could understand, had some romantic tension with one of the other female characters in the story after his failed marriage. This character, Mary Read, was to be played by someone, who had shown romantic interests in Peter before, Felicia Hardy. While Wanda and Peter and been together for just over a year at this point, Wanda still struggled with jealousy, as she'd never been in a relationship before. But this time, it would be especially stressful for her, as Felicia Hardy had quite a promiscuous reputation. Felicia was the kind of girl who cheats on one boyfriend with several over a single period. She's the kind of girl who openly flirts with any boy she pleased, regardless of their relationship status. She's the kind of girl who many boys would leave their own girlfriends for without hesitation, second thought, or regret. As previously stated, Felicia Hardy had a reputation.

As Wanda recalled all of these things and pondered them in her mind, the teacher went ahead and finished listing all of the rolls that all of the students and volunteers would play. When this was finished, all who were present for the meeting were dismissed and Wanda was snapped out of her trance. She promptly stood up and looked for Peter, who was casually speed-walking his way out of the school building with Ned and Miles right beside him. She rushed to join them, and at the sound of her voice, they all looked back and smiled at her, welcoming her into their fold.
