Peter X Wanda One-Shots

Introduction/Explanation

So, this is my first time writing on Wattpad, and since this isn't the most popular ship I think I'm going to have to explain a few things.

Firstly: no, this is not my preferred ship between Peter Parker and any potential love-interest, within the MCU, or otherwise. With that said, I can see why there are a good few people who like the idea of Peter and Wanda being a couple. They've both suffered a lot of trauma throughout much of their young lives and both bare a lot of insecurities. They've both lost people they loves dearly though events that were out of their control, and they both feel a sense of guilt over these losses. And while they have both dated before in the MCU, Peter, at least, has dated many, many, women in the comics and beyond. He's been seen as incredibly charming and it's not out of the realm of possibility that Wanda could fall for him in an alternate MCU timeline. As for Wanda, even if you take Vision and the events of WandaVison out of the picture entirely, she's still suffered a lot. I think that someone as bubbly, optimistic, humorous, and kind as Peter could be exactly what she'd need in one timeline or another.

Secondly: yes, I know about the age difference. Peter, by the end of No Way Home is supposed to be 17 or 18, or possibly 19 at the oldest while Wanda, according to at least one source is supposed to be in her mid-to-late 20s. However, the information on Wanda's age is already sketchy, as if you go on Google and look up "How old was Wanda in Civil War", at which time we know for sure Peter was 15, conflicting sources from different sites give her an age range from as young as 17, to as old as 24. If we assume she was the former, than that would make the age gap of only 2 years (its also important to note that the sources could be confusing the age of Wanda in-universe witht he age of her actress Elizabeth Olsen who was in her mid-20s at the time of filming Civil War). But even if that guess is wrong, people can still PRETEND that they are the same age. That's what fan-fiction is for! You don't have to abide by the rules of the story your fantasizing to the letter, otherwise it wouldn't be called fan-FICTION. Of corse I would NEVER have even considered greenliting this idea if I didn't believe otherwise. And I HIGHLY doubt that the people who ship these two together are doing so with such a potentially large age-gap in mind. These people are just letting their imaginations run wild with the characters they love, there's nothing wrong with that. Nothing wrong with it. If they do ship them with those implications in mind then shame on them, but it's completely asinine to assume people who ship them are people who would EVER support that kind of thing.

Thirdly: yes, I know about Michelle, who was my preferred ship for Peter throughout Far From Home and No Way Home. However, fans need to accept that after No Way Home's ending, there is a very real chance that Michelle abd Peter's relationship will be done for good. She's completely forgotten him and showed no signs of even slightly remembering him in that Diner scene. I know it's sad but it's something we need to accept. As for Peter and Wanda, like I said it's not my preferred ship and I highly doubt it will come to fruition especially considering Wanda's fate in Multiverse of Madness. If I had to pick a comic character I'd most want to see fall for Peter next, it would be a new version of Silver Sable, followed by possibly a reformed Felicia Hardy as a backup choice, and I will be writing stories involving both of those ideas explored proper sometime in the future. As for more serious Peter X Wanda shippers who are disappointed that this isn't my preferred ship...sorry to disappoint. To be fair, I did just plead your case to several naysayers and the idea of Peter and Wanda being together is a concept I personally found novel enough to make my first ever Wattpad project centered around it sooo, there's that. I'm starting soon, only because it's late where I am at the moment but you can expect more from this story very soon.
