Chapter 7

I was not done with the BOCs in Ch. 6, but I promised I would upload it by Thursday... I broke that promise either way, but hey. I tried. I was up at 3:30 am trying to finish.

After dancing, you went back to the snack table to find Allen building a mountain of cookies, cake, and mochi.

You grabbed a plate and took a few cookies and some butter mochi.

"Save some for the rest of us," you teased, lightly bumping him with your shoulder.

He had a chocolate chip cookie halfway in his mouth, and he looked at you with a surprised expression.

You laughed. "Chew and then swallow, dude."

He bit down on the part that was already in his mouth, took the other half out, and sipped some punch. When his mouth was clear, he gave you a bright smile.

"====, right? I'm Allen."

Even though you already knew his name, you didn't want to cut him off, as you thought it was rude and didn't appreciate it when you had it done to you.

"Yep, and hi!" You returned his smile and took a seat at the table you had been sitting at before you went to dance. Allen took a seat across from you, carefully handling his mountain of food on a plate.

"You know, you're pretty popular."

You sighed. "Everybody says thaatt. Why?"

You chomped down on a piece of mochi, frustrated.

"Because, you have so many friends already and it's your first day here," he said, giving a light laugh and nibbling on a snickerdoodle.

You didn't even bother to swallow. "Everyone shays shat shoo!" You said, your mouth full. You realized that what you just did wasn't very ladylike, but then again you didn't care, and shrugged it off. You took a sip from your punch. "It's not like I've only met them today...," you muttered.

"Well, it sure seems like it."

"What about you? Don't you have two other friends that you came to this school with?"

"Yes, but they're in different grades, so I don't get to hang out with them much. Aaand, they weren't cheering me on when I went up to introduce myself," he teased.

"Shut up..." You stuffed a peanut butter cookie in your mouth and tried to look as upset as possible without being like a six year old.

He laughed and bit down on a peanut butter mochi ((that's my favorite, btw xD)) while you rolled your eyes at him.

"Oh yeah, would you dance with me, ====?" Allen said, holding out his hand once he was done with his mountain of sweets.

You smiled. "Sure, Allen."

He led you to the dance floor and kept your right hand in his left while he moved his right to your hip and you moved your left to his shoulder.
