Chapter 9

So...I'm grounded.

For getting two Bs on my report card.

-sigh- well, fuck. I don't have access to my laptop, just my phone and iPod, so it may take a while to type.

You sighed, holding up your head with your fist.

Xemnas was going on and on about abilities... Despite the fact he was there when Lexaeus explained everything to you all.

".....and you each will get a teacher specializing in different weapons," he continued.

He was explaining how students that picked the Warrior ability would be split into groups depending on their weapon.

'Guess I can't fight empty handed,' you huffed. At least you wouldn't risk further injury on your fist that way.

"These are two of the four teachers who will be teaching the Warriors."

Two young ladies who looked about Tifa's age or a bit older stepped on the stage.

One of them made you think of Red Riding Hood.

She had short black hair, just like Yuffie, except it had a reddish tint to it, and gleaming silver eyes. She wore a black gothic dress that reached down to her mid-thigh, and was lined with red.

Her belt was just a black loose-fitting strap around her waist, and it bore a silver rose on the front. On the sides were ammunition.

The part that reminded you of Red Riding Hood, though, was her.. Red... Hooded.. Cape.

"I'm Ruby," she said, smiling. Something about her smile seemed smug, like she was badass; not someone to be messed with, and knew it.

"My weapon is a scythe and gun."

You cocked your head. "Doesn't she mean her weapons are a scythe and a gun..?" You muttered.

"No," Red said, looking straight at you. Your eyes widened as she gave you that cocky grin and stared. "I meant that literally. My weapon is a scythe that is also a gun."

'The hell..?' You wondered.

The other lady stepped forward.

She had a soft smile on her face, and her pale sky blue eyes twinkled. Her long, wavy white hair was wrapped into a bun on the right side of her head, then was let down into a ponytail.((I really don't know how to explain her hair.. Look at the picture xD))She wore a pale blue bolero jacket over a similarly colored thigh-length dress with a piece of black lace making up the neckline of the dress. The sleeves turned blue as it got closer to her wrists. She had a crooked scar over her left eye that resembled a lightning bolt; you decided you would ask her how she got that later.

"I'm Weiss," she said.

'Weiss? Is she German?' You thought. She certainly didn't look like it; she resembled a Japanese girl.

"My weapon is a rapier that I named Myrtenaster," she said proudly.

"Damn it, Weiss, why'd you tell them the name of your sword??" Ruby complained, shoving her lightly.

"Because I'm trying to be nice," Weiss hissed, shoving her also.

"Meh. Guess I'll have to tell them the name of my weapon.. Crescent Rose." She crossed her arms frustratedly, like she was used to having things go her way and ONLY her way.
