"Hope," Josie began, "do you think they're going to be okay?" She never heard a respond and turned over to see her sister, Lizzie, was asleep, but Hope's bed was empty.

She quickly got out and stuck her feet into slippers. While the entire school was gone, they were the only ones who had stay since their parents were around.

Hope had woken up in the middle of the night and tiptoed to Stefan's room. Usually, they weren't allowed to enter the administrations' rooms, but she assumed this was acceptable. She wasn't scared to see the cold bodies scattering the room but was more bold as she approached them.

She had no clue as to what she was doing, especially when she bit into her palm with her sharp dentures that produced blood. She placed her hand on Amelia's mouth and waited for it to go down her throat.

Hope leaned forward, trying to add more pressure for the blood run, when she heard a single beat. A smile spread across her face when the vampire's skin began to heal and the meat on her bones were full. It was only when her dark, pulsating eyes that opened flashed blue was when she pulled away.

"Amelia," Hope muttered. She jumped when the door swung open and her father stood their, along with the others crowding behind him.

Caroline was the first to stir awake, Abby and Camille following. They, however, wasn't as confused as Amelia and already had smiles on their faces.

"Amelia," Klaus spoke. As he began to approach her, she grew defensive by barring her K-9 teeth like a rabid dog before vamping out of the window.

"I knew it," Damon stated as Klaus was still left in shock. "I knew she'd come back."

"With Hope's blood?" Vincent questioned.

"She's a witch and descendant of a special werewolf pack," Hayley thought. "That's why The Hollow's so important."

"As long as she and everyone else are back, who cares," Bonnie said.

"We don't know if that's her anymore," Klaus finally said, drawing her attention. "The way she looked at me, it was all absurd."

"Me too," Caroline agreed. "She's not herself."

Klaus pulled away and vamped out of the room, taking a ground flight to wherever her scent led him. He found himself roaming the woods of Mystic Falls and his feet treaded lightly on the ground.

When he saw her in her thin, black satin nightgown and shall, he stopped moving. She was there, looking at the beauty of the earth and it's mornings as if it were new to her. Or maybe, it was a reincarnation of a memory from the lands they settled in a thousand years ago.

He saw her head drop and look at the ground and it's autumn leaves. Her hand contorted and lifted and the brown leaves followed her guide. He uttered a gasp in which she heard and pivoted, blasting a pit of energy from her palm. Klaus was thrown back against a tree with fire flaming through his clothes and sizzling on his skin. Amelia, or possibly not, vamped to him and fell on her knees.

"I'm sorry!" she exclaimed. "I-I didn't know you were there. Let me just-" She held her breath as her hand stood centimeters away from his chest so she could heal him. When his skin concealed the deep burn, her green eyes calmly gazed and she smiled.

Klaus's eyes enlarged at her wonders, especially the smile she had given him. It was if she was still ignorant to the world and it's horrors. She seemed to act like the age stopped at; 20, between the acts of childlike and adulthood.

He partially lifted to prop himself against his right arm and his left resting on his leg where he was close to her. Her eyes pulled away from his and she looked at the ring on his finger. He saw this and decided to show her, giving her the opportunity to grab his hand and look closely.

"The sun," she murmured. "And the moon."

"Amelia," he said gently and he was surprised she knew her name. "Who did I get the ring from?"

Her smile faltered and she frowned, tilting her head to one side. He dropped his head, the curls of his hair coming down and he sighed.

"I would never forget the face of a man I hated for a thousand years," she spoke. He beamed at her and she immediately pushed herself into her arms where he graciously took a hold of her, running his hands through her hair.

"Oh, Melee."

"I'm a witch, Niklaus!" she cried. "I fought her and won, but she gave me this- this. I don't understand it yet, but it's mine."

"You'll get all the help you need," he told her.

She shook her head vigorously. Grabbing his hand, she helped him stand. "I'd rather take up your deal on running away."

"But we'd have to come back."

"Yes, of course," she agreed. "Run away with me, my love." As they kissed, he began pushing her with him as he floated across the lands, going to a place he knew; Italy.
