I was eating my lunch, and talking to the guys about going to a bar later when the blaring sounds stopped our conversation, and caused us to scatter quickly to our stations. "Civilians in distress for a ladder, Engine Aide, 5-4-2 Hickens road,Building 7-3-B Civilians in distress" The dispatcher said on the loud speaker. I quickend my speed in putting on my gear and rushing to my truck. Jamie and David were riding with me. We turned the sirens on and zoomed out of there to our destination.
(A/n :I don't know anything about firefighter's so please bare with me)
We reached the Angry fire and I immediately grabbed what I needed and headed towards the fire while David stayed back and tried to put the fire out and Jamie followed me into the building. We searched All of the floors until I reached the last one. Jamie had helped an elderly lady on the floor below this one so I was in the building alone. I Checked all the other doors before reaching the last one. I kicked down the last door and found a child who looked about maybe five or seven and a toddler who looked to be two or three.
The girl was holding on to the boy, But I ran towards them "I'm gonna get you out of here okay" The girl looked up at me in worry with tears streaming down her face and the boy full on breaking down.
I grabbed them both wrapped my Arms around them and they clung to my body. Then I searched around for an exit, I tried to get to Paul from my radio, "we need help, There's no exit" Captain Spoke on the Radio, "Look to your right" I spotted a window and saw Jamie on the ladder on the other side of the window. I used my body as a shield so the kids wouldn't get hurt when Jamie had to break the window.
As soon as the window was open I handed him the boy first and he went down, Then the little girl kept clinging to my side. "Listen you have to let go okay, You're gonna get out of here" She shook her head. I looked up and saw David reaching for her. I handed her to him and he went down, so that both children could get to safety and to find their parents.
As soon as the reached the bottom I climbed out the window and went down the ladder, hearing people Clap and applaud cheering for me. I reached the bottom and jumped off heading straight for the kids.
I didn't get far because I ended up passing out.

My eyes were closed but I could hear mumbling. Then I heard my little pony playing in the background and that's when I knew. 'My girls' came to see me, But I couldn't open my eyes.
After a minute of trying I opened my eyes and saw her gorgeous chocolate brown orbs looking into mine. I smile "Hey pretty lady" She blushed and brought me into a hug. "Please don't scare us like that again". She pulled away and kissed my cheek. That made me blush, But then little Ava looked up from her iPad "LELE, YOU'RE AWAKE!" She screamed and ran towards my bed. I sat up slightly so I could help her get into the bed but I groaned in pain.
