Breath Becca Leo is here by your side, Take your time and breath,I thought to myself. After my break down yesterday, Leo brought me back to my house and I told her what happened, I waited a full week before trying again and this time Leo was by my side.
We were sitting In front of my therapist, She told me to take my time and talk to her whenever I was ready. I knew the next sentences that came out of my mouth I would have to chose my choice of worlds carefully. I took another deep breath and I begun to speak.
"I was 20 when I was blessed with Ava. I don't regret Having my little girl at all, I just wished that her father was a different man". My therapist nodded and wrote it down in her booklet. "The abuse started happening after I had Ava, But before that He would barley be home at all. Ava was barley one when he started putting his hands on me".
"He beat me until I had Marks all over my body, And It would repeat everyday until I couldn't take it anymore, I had a small job and I'd saved up all my paychecks just so that I could move me and my baby away from him, I didn't know where I wanted to go, I hopped on a flight, and here I am in London. The night I landed we had no where to stay, But I bumped into an elderly lady. Her name is Cynthia, She took care of me and Ava. She had a small studio apartment above the library that she owned so she let us stay there until I could buy a house".
"Cynthia Treated us like we were her very own family, She told me stories about her family, I even ended up meeting them and they loved me and my Little Ava." I stopped talking and looked at Leo. Dr.Lavern Was writing things in her booklet than she looked up at me.
"That's when I moved out of my house and I bumped into Leo. I fell Inlove with her Instantly, We became official on my daughters birthday". Leo smiled grabbing my hand and kissing the back of it. Dr.Lavern Checked her watch and smiled. "That's wonderful, Very good on making progress in this session, I know it's not easy talking about abuse, And it will take a lot more sessions but I'm proud of you."
We stood up and she led us to the door. "Feel Free to contact me at any given time, I will be here for you my line will be open until 4 am" I nodded and smiled. "Thank you so much". We said goodbyes and me and Leo left. Even tho I talked about it, It's like more weight is being added onto my shoulder. Something feels off.

I sat in my car watching The little bitch's kid talking to an old couple. They were laughing and giggling. They won't be laughing for long. I'm gonna make her ass pay, and make her regret leaving me. I put my cigarette out and turned on my car, Then I drove off. 'I'll be back soon'.
