I was listening To '505' By the Arctic Monkeys, Swaying my hips and cooking. "Smells good, Pretty lady" I froze in my place. "How long have you been standing there?" I ask Feeling my heart beat Increase. "Not long Actually, Uh I just came to tell you that Ava Fell asleep" I nod. "Alright thank you, Dinner is almost done" She nods and smiles, Then turns on her heels and walks back to the living room. I've made us teriyaki chicken with sesame seeds on top, With white rice as the base, topping it off with a dash of chives.
I set the table up and put the delicious meal In the middle of the table. "What would you like to drink?" I ask grabbing cups from the cabinet. "Do you have Beer?" I set down the cups and opened my fridge. "I have Light Buzz" I said looking up from behind the fridge door."I'll take that" She says standing in the walk way leaning on the wall. I grabbed a beer can and the pitcher of Freshly home made Lemonade and set them on the counter. I poured me a glass of lemonade, Then I made my way into the dining room.
"The food Looks amazing"Leo said eyeing the food sitting on the table. "Thank you" I said smiling "You should invite me over for dinner more often"She said smirking a little. I cleared my throat and giggled nervously. She chuckled and I sat down at the table, and made my plate. As I was about to take a bite out of my meal I heard Ava start whining. She came downstairs dragging her Blanket and stuffie on the floor and walked towards Leo and Raised one of her arms up, While the other she used to rub her eyes.
Leo Chucked and picked her up placing her on her lap. Little Ava got settled nice and comfy in Leo's lap and ended up looking at her plate. "You hungry princess?" Leo asked while looking down at my daughter. Ava nodded and Leo smiled. I stood up "I'll go make her a plate" I turned on my heels only to be stopped, "Nah it's okay, I can share with Her" I looked at her "Are you sure?" She smiled and gave me a nod. I sat back down in my seat and dug into my food.
