"Toad's breath. I don't have toad's breath. Silk wart either. I have that. That, too. I may have enough of that one." SeungMin reads through the list of ingredients and marks off each thing he has.

"I'm sorry, Jinnie." ChangBin whispers as he holds HyunJin in his lap. He can't seem to pry his eyes from the deep scratches up and down HyunJin's precious arms.

HyunJin just shakes his head. The moment he opens his mouth to speak, he'll break down again. The effects of WooYoung's games are still in play. He hasn't been able to break free of them yet.

"Is someone with Luna? She shouldn't be alone." SeungMin mumbles as he skims through the steps.

"I asked Sung to sit with her. I figured he'd be our next best." ChangBin informs him and rests his cheek against HyunJin's forehead.

"Sung? You asked the demon to sit with her? We do have another angel you know, right?" SeungMin shakes his head as he trails his finger under everything he reads to ensure he doesn't miss a thing.

"Don't start that demon bullshit when you're surrounded by demons." MinHo warns lowly as he shoots a glare at SeungMin.

"You're not a demon. Quarter demon doesn't count. You're unqualified because you're a Chyrid." SeungMin mumbles, completely oblivious to the dumbfounded look on ChangBin's face.

ChangBin can't believe the audacity this kid has. Yeah, he may be an angel, but he's been with them for so long, it's shocking he still hasn't gotten over the divide between them. Everyone seems to have adapted pretty well to the vast amount of differences between them all—at least that's what ChangBin thought.

Are the others still harboring ill feelings towards one another, too. Aside from the heated moments were anything falls from their lips. Is there actual unspoken hatred still laced between them all?

"Sungie is the best choice." HyunJin states as he leans back against ChangBin.

JiSung lays on his back, Luna's head on his chest and her slender body settled between his legs. His arms are wrapped firmly around her and one hand is tangled in her silky hair. Her soft breaths are like music to his ears as he listens contently with his eyes shut tightly.

When he first came in, she wanted nothing to do with him. He didn't blame her. He could feel the disappointment seeping from her. She didn't want him. It was nothing personal. It never is, but he'd be lying if he said it didn't sting a little.

Her time with ChangBin had been cut short. She lost precious time with the one demon she's been connected to the longest. It only makes sense she's upset. She gave in though.

JiSung sat by her silently. He didn't even spare her a glance. To JiSung, reading Luna is actually quite easy. Unlike HyunJin, JiSung never seems to struggle to read her, but he's a demon. HyunJin's at least part angel. He's the one who's good at protecting humans. JiSung's good at manipulating them, that's why he's always careful with Luna.

Manipulating Luna without thinking is one of his biggest fears. He doesn't want to take her freewill from her. He can't stand the idea of playing mind games with her for his benefit, so most of the time, he waits for her to make the first move.

"Sungie?" Luna mumbles against his warm skin.

"Hm?" JiSung hums as he tightens his grip on her.

Her emotions settled down quite a bit the moment she laid her head on his bare chest. The sound of his rapidly thumping heart is calming to her for some strange reason. JiSung honestly doesn't understand it, but if it helps her relax, he's more than willing.

"What's a Konv—Konwhatever?" Luna questions as the darkness falls over the two of them like a blanket of comfort.

"A Konvux? It's a demon. I'm not the most versed in demon species, but I think they can like—be somewhere they aren't actually at. You saw YunHo earlier. He wasn't actually here, but he could still see and hear us. I don't know what else they can do though." JiSung gives Luna the little bit of knowledge he does have in hopes of easing her curiosity.
