The funeral

Caitlin:

Caitlin woke up and hugged Barry's arm tightly "Barry's arm?!" She realized.

She dropped Barry's arm and sat up quickly. "Barry stayed here with me again" she thought happily.

Barry scrambled awake and nearly fell out of the chair. "Morning Cait" he said softly as his eyes met hers.

"So is this a routine now Mr Allen" she joked and Barry laughed.

"I just wanted to make sure you were okay, especially because of what Iris said yesterday" Barry replied.

"Speaking of who, isn't she going to loose it that you stayed here again" Caitlin asked.

Barry shrugged "Iris has always been my top priority, but my best friend needed me" Barry stated and Caitlin's heart swelled even more.

"Do you want me to cook you something to eat?" Caitlin asked him as she scrambled to get up.

Barry shook his head "as much as i love your cooking, i was just going to grab something on my way to work, i think you should stay here and get more sleep" Barry replied as he lightly laid her back down.

"Ill bring you something for lunch" Barry promised as he hugged her and then flashed off.

Caitlin laid there smiling like an idiot for a few minutes until she drifted off to sleep.

Barry:

Barry had flashed off to work and had been in his lab working for a couple hour when he heard a knock.

"Captain kramer" Barry greeted.

"Allen" Kramer replied.

"What can i do for you?" Barry asked.

"I was hoping you could tell me about the blue flamed murdering psycho path" Kramer explained "did you stop him?".

Barry's heart dropped "no Captain, Frost did" Barry explained.

"Killer Frost stopped him?" Kramer asked confused.

"Yes Frost stopped stopped him and she gave her life to do so".

Kramer nodded "im sure that must have been hard for you, i know you were friends" she said.

Barry nodded "yes we were" he said quietly.

"Im sorry for your loss Allen, ill be sure to let the people of Central City know who they owe their thanks to" Kramer said as she left.

Barry sat there for a minute nearly in tears but he snapped himself out of it "what would Frost say?" He thought to himself and took a deep breath "stop moping around and get to work you dipshit" he imagined Frost scolding him with a smile.

Barry took a deep breath and sat in his lab for a few minutes and looked up to the clock and saw it was about twelve "i promised Caitlin lunch" he remembered as he flashed off.

Caitlin:

Caitlin had been cleaning/crying the whole day as she cleaned up Frost's stuff from the apartment.

She was in the middle of one of her crying seesions when she felt a rush of wind meaning Barry had returned with lunch.

"Sorry im late there was a rush and a robb-" he started but he stopped and set his hand softly on Caitlin's shoulder "Cait are you alright?" He whispered.

Caitlin spun around and hugged him crying and Barry embraced the hug and held her tightly.

He must have noticed Frost's stuff scattered around the floor because he started quietly comforting her even more "do you want me to take this out?" He asked softly and Caitlin shook her head.
