Barry:

"Recently an interview with Supergirl confirmed that it was the brave hero the Flash saved the world from the monsters that have been destroying city's around the world, the crime rate in the entire world has spiked to dangerous levels, so Flash and any other heroes if your out there this city and the world needs you" The reporter on finished.

Barry flicked off the Star Labs terminal and sat in the silence of the empty and trashed cortex.

He heard a familiar whoosh and looked over to see Kara with a unusually grim look on her face "hey Barr" she said softly giving him a light smile.

"Hey Kara" Barry muttered a reply.

Kara walked over to him calmly "how you holding up?" She asked.

Barry scoffed slightly "im doing great" he replied sarcastically.

"I just saved a kid from falling off a building on my way here" she said.

"That's good" Barry replied.

Kara nodded, spun around one of the chairs and sat down "he was asking about you alot of people have, there starting to think you've abandoned them" Kara she said softly.

Barry laughed dryly "I've given them everything and they still need more".

"You know they need you, especially now" Kara stated.

Barry sighed "you wanna know what happened last time I went out there?" He asked rhetorically "I ran to stop a robbery at jitters and I froze up because I saw the drink sign and it was covered in superhero themed drinks, then I ran to Gotham to see if I could do anything there and I froze up when I saw the batsymbol, everywhere I look and go it just reminds me of that day".

Kara reached forward and took Barry's hand into hers "I know and I know it hurts but right now we have to think about what the others would want, would they want, do you think Lena would want me to mope around?" She asked.

Barry shook his head slowly "no" he replied.

Kara nodded and smile slowly began to form on her face "and what would Caitlin, Cisco, Iris, Joe and the others want you to do?" She asked.

Barry chucked lightly as he imagined them all scolding him to get out there "go and be the Flash" he stated.

Kara hopped up excitedly "then what are we gonna do?" She asked.

Barry smiled at Kara "go save the world" he replied as he stood up.

Kara hugged Barry tightly and it caught him off gaurd "k-kara your squeezing me" Barry mutterd.

Kara let go quickly "are we ready to go save the world?" She asked him.

Barry nodded "just let me get my suit" he replied as he flashed off to the time vault.

He arrived at the time vault still in flash time, he saw the picture of him Caitlin, Cisco, and Dr Wells that they took when he first became the flash on Gideon's holo display.

He walked over to the photo and smiled at Cisco and Caitlin "I'll make you guys proud" he promised.

He grabbed one of his older suits due to his being destroyed by Lady Hellfire, this suit was the one he wore when he fought Zoom and most of the color had worn off and it was mostly black apart for some red where the seems were.

He flashed back into the cortex were Kara was waiting "now I'm ready" he stated.

Kara smiled at him "then let's go Scarlet Speedster".

"Only if you're ready Girl of Steel" he replied and they both took off.
