BONNIE walked up to Allison's room knocking on it softly and she heard a "come in" from the other side of the room.
she entered the older womens room seeing her pack her clothes away inside of the closet that held a few of her younger self clothes. "ali, I was wondering if you have a black dress I could borrow? i don't think it's appropriate of me to wear," she glanced down at her outfit before grimacing, "this."
Allison chuckled nodding her head as she walked over towards her closet and went over to Bonnie standing right in front of her and holding the dress to her body frame. "this only one i have, only worn it once."
Bonnie thanked the older women before heading out of her room and making her way towards the bathroom when five walked out of his room and was in front of Bonnie. five froze which Bonnie found weird since the few minutes she has met him he doesn't seem the person to really care about anything especially a random girl.
"can I help you?" Bonnie asked holding the dress close to her body tilting her head to the side. that's something that signature to her - tilting her head to the side and smirking.
"yes actually," five said shifting in his feet and mentally he was thinking quick on a excuse but he couldn't find anything so he sighed deeply shaking his head. "No."
Bonnie nodded her head slowly walking fast away from five and slamming the door of the bathroom and locking it.
slow claps were heard from the end of the hallway. "nice going, brother." Klaus said making five roll his eyes and walk down stairs.
a few minutes later the hargreeves siblings and the moore girl walked out of the academy with a black umbrella covering themselves from the pouring rain.
"did something happen?" asked Grace their mom who smiled looking at all of her children and then smiled down at Bonnie who stood next to her.
"dad died. remember?" Allison said making grace's face drop.
"oh. yes, of course."
"is mom okay?" Allison asked Diego who stood in the rain without an umbrella.
"yeah, yeah, she's fine." Diego said nodding at Allison glancing over at his mom, "she just needs to rest. you know, recharge." Bonnie lifted the umbrella a little so that it went over Diego and covered himself before he got more wet.
Bonnie's mouth dropped to the floor as a chimpanzee walked towards them with an umbrella and a cane. "whenever you're ready, dear boy."
she glanced over at everyone who apparently this seemed normal to. her eyes then landed on five who was already looking at her and quickly moved his head away to look at the chimpanzee.
"that's pogo." Diego whispered to Bonnie noticing that she was beyond confused to the fact that there was a chimpanzee talking and standing up walking with a crane.
Luther stepped forward and opened the jar that held the ashes of Reginald Hargreeves and then spilled them all to the ground. it just landed on the ground making the atmosphere turn awkward.
Luther lifted his head up and glanced at everyone, "probably would have been better with some wind."
"you thi-" Diego quickly covered her mouth before she was able to say anything else.
"does anyone wish to speak?" Pogo asked and Bonnie glanced at the family who was silent. diego only hardly ever talked to her about his past life with the academy, but sometimes he would tell her about how horrible of a father he was.
"very well." pogo said and the only thing you could hear was the raindrops falling to the group and on the umbrellas. "in all regards, sir reginald hargreeves made me what I am today. for that alone, i shall forever be in his debt. he was my master... and my friend and I shall miss him very much." he paused for a moment but the only other person who was truly mourning for him was Luther. "he leaves behind a complicated legacy-"
"he was a monster." Diego snarled causing Klaus to laugh while Bonnie rolled her eyes already knowing where this was going. "he was a bad person and a worse father. the worlds better off without him."
"Diego."
"no wait, I wanna hear what he has to say." bonnie whispered to Allison.
"my name is number two. you know why?" Diego asked to Allison who lowered her head. "because our father couldn't be bothered to give us actual names. he had mom do it."
"would anyone like something to eat?" grace asked not knowing the situation very well or she did just that she didn't want to relive it.
"cookies, please." bonnie said over to grace who nodded her head with a soft smile. "okay, dear."
"look, you wanna pay your respects?" Diego walked away from under the umbrella and over to the middle of the circle, "go ahead. but at least be honest about the kind of man he was."
"you should stop talking now." Luther snapped at Diego who rolled his eyes and twisted his head over to Luther.
"you know, you of all people should be on my side here, number one." Diego was feed up with pogo and Luther acting like Reginald was some kind of hero for them, as if he was the best father in the world. Bonnie know that he wasn't, she know by what Diego tells her that he was the most shittest father ever and she's beyond thankful that he isn't like him.
"I am warning you."
"after everything he did to you?" Diego asked to Luther who held his head high not affected by his words, "he had to ship you a million miles away."
"Diego stop talking."
"that's how much he couldn't stand the sight of you!" Diego shouted and Luther couldn't take it anymore so he swung his arm and punched him straight in the face and in defense Diego punches back. soon the two fighting and the family all weren't too surprised by this.
"boys, stop this at once!" Pogo snapped and Bonnie rolled her eyes starting to leave them not feeling the need to see whatever they were going to get themselves into.
"bon bon, were are you going?" Klaus asked Bonnie who turned around glancing over at Diego and Luther who were still fighting, vanya screaming at them but they weren't listening.
"going to get something to eat, I really don't have time to see the girls fighting." Bonnie explained and five was staring at her the entire time still not being able to fully understand why Bonnie was standing in front of him, how she got there and why did he see her in apocalypse.
"I dont either." he mumbled walking away with his thoughts filled with his the girl and Bonnie smiled sweetly at Klaus who let them walk away.
"have fun, diego!"
