chapter twenty-one, episode nine
son of a bitch

BONNIES first intact was to reach out for her knife, immediately pointing it out towards Hazel who held a gun up towards them pressed onto his chest. five came back with an eye roll pulling down Bonnie's hand taking the knife away and intertwining their fingers together.

"are you here to kill us?" five asked calmly sitting back down on his stool and nodding to Bonnie to sit back down. she didn't, she stayed standing up glaring at Hazel.

flashbacks of terrors coming back to her mind of that night went inside of her mind when Hazel locked eyes with her and send her a apologetic smile.

"oh. shit. sorry. old habits." Hazel chuckled nervously putting the gun into his back. "well, I can understand why both of you might feel that way, you know."

"well," five hummed bringing the margarita up to his mouth, "you attacked our house, tried to kill my family, kidnapped my brother and tortured Bonnie."

"well, there wasn't not much I can do about the past. don't forget I'm not the only killer in this room." Hazel looked past five over to Bonnie who's glare only harden. "you and her got your own blood history, pal. speaking of which, that job you did in colhoun, that shits legendary and you, the way you started to young-"

"I didn't do it for fun and jokes." Bonnie snapped remembering those times where men were always trying to get to her even despite that she was between the ages 11-14. she had to defend herself somehow since they always came back.

"right, sorry. anyways, I can't believe I'm actually sittin' here talkin' to you, after all-" the man was starting to practically fan girl over them, mostly five since he was in the commission.

"Hazel, why are you here?" five asked, cutting Hazel off to go on and on about him.

"well, I'm, you know-" before he got another word in Diego from behind him, knocked him out causing Bonnie to groan since she wanted to do something not him.

"Diego, stop!"

"why does he always get the fun in things?" Bonnie mumbled now sitting herself down back on the stool as Diego started to beat the hell out of Hazel who let himself without fighting back.

"you know, before you kill him, you might wanna hear what he had to say." five said giving up at the end as Diego didn't stop hitting him and started to talk to him while five watched in amusement and bonnie dropped her head down in the table not wanting to see Diego have "all the fun" as she says.

five gave Bonnie's hand a squeeze before letting go and went over to pull them apart by dropping a glass vase on Diego's head knocking him out. "i draw the line at biting."

Bonnie looked over her shoulder lazily and rolled her eyes and stood up from her stool heading over towards Diego. "Hazel, whatever you came here to say, I suggest you make it quick, before he comes round."

bonnie swatted away the glass pieces from his head and went over to the cabinet grabbing a broom and started to pile up the glass next to the wall, away from Diego.

"I left my partner, quit the commission, came to volunteer." Hazel said raising his voice going straight to the point now.

"for what?" five and bonnie asked at the same time giving him a confused look.

"to help stop the apocalypse." he declared lifting his hands up to swat away the pieces of glass on his shoulder. five chuckled while Bonnie shook her head with a scoff. "what on earth could be so funny and amusing for you right now?"
