Dark Shadow calm down!

Kana POV
Crap! I need to find my other classmates!" I hiss to myself as I make my way through the forest. Suddenly I hear the gruff voice of none other than Bakugou...the villains main target
"Bakugou! Todoroki!" I cry out to them happy to see that two of my classmates as at least okay...I haven't seen Fumikage yet so I'm really worried about him and dark Shadow
"Kaneki...are you okay?" Todoroki asks me seeing that I'm bleeding from my forehead
"Oh yeah I'm fine...you should see the other guy!" I joke causing Bakugou to chuckle
"Not bad nightmares...Where's you're bird at?" He asks and I shrug my shoulders
"Honestly I have no idea..." I say when I have to jump out of the way to make sure I'm not impaled by werid knife like things
"What the hell!?" Bakugou says
"Meat...chunks of meat..." the villan says
"Ew...is he creating knives from his teeth!?" I say quickly only to be shoved out of the way by Todoroki
"Kaneki watch out!" He calls and I stumble up to my feet
"Right sorry..." I say and we attempt to keep the villan at bay and away from Bakugou...or should I say keep Bakugou away from the villan!
"Nightmares use your quirk on him already!' Bakugou hisses
"I can't see his eyes dumbass!" I hiss at him
"Hu?" He looks at me confused
"I need to be able to see someone's eyes in order to activate my quirk..." I yell at him
"Well that's just shit!" He yells at me
"Oh I'm sorry my quirk isn't good enough for you!" i scream back
"Can you two do this another time!" Todoroki shouts and we both nod our heads and we continue to fight.

[Sometime later]

"There I see ice! They're fighting!" I hear Myodira shout
"No way...Mydoria!?' I say as we hear crashing coming behind them
"Bakugou! Todoroki!" One of you...give us some light!" Shoji scream as they run towards us...Mydoria looks worse for where
"Blood..." the villan says shooting forward to hurt them but a large shadow figure crushes him...wait...no that can't be...my worst fears are confirmed when a very out of control dark shadow comes into view and my boyfriend tangled up in him struggling to control him
"Kacchan!" Mydoria screams
"No way.. Shoji and Mydoria...and is that....Tokoyami!?" Todoroki asks as the large Shadow crushes the large chunk of ice infront of him with no problems
"Fumikage!" I shout going to run forward but Todoroki stops me
"He's out of control...you get to close he may kill you..." he says to me...as much as I want to believe that's not true...it could be a possibility
"We need some light now...he's out of control!" Shoji says though one of his arms which dark shadow tries to attack...
"He's attacking blindly...I'll use my fire..." Todoroki says putting down the unconscious boy on the floor
"Not so fast..." Bakugou says stopping him then and there and that's when I notice the villan on the floor hoisting himself us with his teeth again
"Flesh....slabs of meat...I will be the one to cut them open!" He shouts but dark Shadow attacks him and stops him there and then. Because of how much he acts like a cute little kitten when he's under control I forget sometimes how strong he actually is!
"You don't matter!" Dark Shadow hisses at him "you insignificant bug!" he hisses crushing him even more
"Finish him..." Bakugou says with a smirk...I clasp my hand over my mouth as I feel my eyes fill with tears...Dark Shadow defeats the villan with no problems at all
"Okay no we can get him..." Bakugou says and he goes to light up his hand
"No don't hurt him!" I yell as I run past them
"Kaneki no!" Todoroki yells going to grab me but I dodge
"It's not enough!" Dark shadow screams and it looks like he's gonna attack again
"Dark Shadow calm down!" I scream at him holding my arms out
"Not enough!" Dark shadow shouts
"Kana please run away!" Fumikage calls out trying to get dark Shadow to release his grip on him...crap...I close my eyes waiting for him to crush me but when I look his high shadow hand has stopped just above my face "please....stop..." I sob out and I see his big red eyes soften for a bit before they turn angled again and his hand wraps around me pulling me up into the air
"Kaneki!" Mydoria calls out as I'm brought closes to Dark shadow's face
"Dark Shadow...it's me...please....please stop..." I say tears streaming down my face. He doesn't do anything...he doesn't put me down but he also doesn't attack...so I take a deep breath and reach my hand out touching his shadowy beak causing him to flinch at first
"Hey...it's me...it's okay...you got him buddy..." I say softly to him as I gently stroke his beak
"K..Ka...na..." he says in a deep voice and I let a big deep breath out and nod my head
"It's me sweetie...you did it...now please..." I say wiping my eyes and lowering my head so it rests on his beak "please stop...." I whimper out...

Tokoyami POV
"Please stop...." I hear Kana whimper out and to my suprise and I guess to the suprise of everyone else Dark Shadow calms down and I slowly regain control as he shrinks bringing her closer to the floor
"Oh my god it's working..." Shoji says happily. Finally Dark Shadow returns to my body and I collapse to my knees panting
"Tokoyami are you okay?" I hear Todoroki asks softly but I can't answer right now I'm still trying to catch my breath...
"Fumikage!" Kana's voice can be heared saying as I feel a pair of arms wrap around my neck. She is kneeling infront of me holding me close to her as she quietly cries into my neck, instantly I wrap my arms around her and hold her close to me for a second before pushing her away
"Are you nuts? He could have killed you..." I say placing my hand on her cheek using my thumbs to wipe her tears away
"He's right Kaneki...that was extremely reckless..." Shoji says
"But...it worked so..good job Nightmares " Bakugou says to her and she smiles at everyone
"I'm so sorry everyone..."I say to them...I'm so ashamed of myself right now...I couldn't control Dark Shadow and he almost killed our friends...he could have really hurt Kana
"Oi lover bird....come on you can be dark and broody in your own thoughts later...you're just lucky Kaneki was able to calm him down before we destroyed him" Bakugou hisses as I get to my feet with help from Kana.

[Everyone's in the hospital now]

Kana was busy getting her injuries looked at by the doctors...she has a nasty gash on her forehead which I believe will require stitches...I'm sat outside of her room currently as I can't bring myself to go in and speak to her...
I could have killed her and she's acting like it's nothing! Dark shadow's reason for losing control was because he saw Shoji was hurt...but still I can't forgive myself...she deserves someone better then me. Someone who has control of his quirk and someone who doesn't need to rely on someone to help him keep control in the darkness.
"You're planning on ending it...aren't you" Dark Shadow says as he rests on my shoulder
"You could have killed her..." I say to him and he flinches a little "I didn't though..." he then says and I sigh before petting his head
"I know buddy but I can't risk hurting her...I..." I start to say before i sigh
"You love her..." he finishes my sentence and i nod my head. I have been in love with her from the moment I saw her and the more I got to know her and who she is as a person I have fallen even deeper in love with Kana.
"Yeah....yeah I love her..." I say when suddenly Kana's door opens and the doctor comes out
"Oh hello...you two must be Fumikage Tokoyami and Dark Shadow" the doctor says with a smile and I nod my head "you can both see her now...she's okay we just want to keep her in so we can keep an eye on her" she smiles at me and I nod my head
"Thank you" I say as we make our way in and there she was. Sat up in bed with her forehead stitched and all cleaned up.
"Fumikage! Dark Shadow!" She says excitedly making grabby hands for us... I really don't want to end things with her but it's for the best...I'm struggling to look at her. I sit on the corner of her bed which causes her to make a confused face
"How are you feeling?" I ask and she nods her head
"I'm okay...the doctors just want to keep me in overnight to keep an eye...since it's a head injury you know..." she says softly "how are you two feeling..." she says trying to shuffle closer to me
"We're okay..." Dark Shadow says sadly
"Kana...I'm so sorry..." he then says looking down
"Sweetie it's okay..." she says going to reach out for him but he moved away looking away ashamed of himself
"Kana listen..." I say and her eyes go wide
"Is everything okay..." she asks confused
"I umm...I think we should..." I start
"No..." she says suddenly..."no I know exactly where this is going and it's not happening..." I can tell she's holding back tears
"Kana...I can't do this..." I sigh getting up
"No please don't do this..." her voice cracks and it takes every fiber of my being to not turn around and hug her close
"I'm sorry Kana..." I say walking away
"I love you!" She says and I stop dead in my tracks there and then...did she just...I do something I told myself I wouldn't do as I know I'm not strong enough to stick to my guns. I turn around to look at her...her face is tear stained with more falling on top replacing the ones that were falling onto her hands
"Kana...you deserve..." I start but she cuts me off
"I don't give a shit what you think I deserve...you should give a shit about what I want...and I want you! I don't care about what happened tonight...I don't care about if you have a bird head...I've never cared about that! I only want you...and all the strings that may come attached with that so please...don't do this..." she whimpers out and that was it...any hope I had of sticking to my plan of leaving her and giving her a chance with someone better than me was gone. My feet carry me quickly over to her hospital bed and I pull her into me holding her close as she sobs softly
"I love you too..." I whisper to her and i feel her grip on me get tighter holding me in place.
