"Did you cheat on me?"
Jungkook kept staring deep into her drowsy hazel coloured eyes. The warmth radiating to his cheek from her palm was something that he needed the most but somehow did not realize it till now.
He shook his head slowly—Never could I ever cheat on you. Dami's eyebrows furrowed in pain. "Oh!" She quickly removed her hand from his face—causing him to frown. Don't.
"I am sorry. I pressed it too hard, didn't I?" The rest of them watched the two. Jisoo got up and went inside. She was confused about the relationship between them. What she knew was, she did not like what she was seeing and the fact that nobody was even separating them.
"Does it hurt?" Dami worriedly inspected Jungkook's cheeks. Jungkook, once again chose to answer being silent—nodding. Her eyes widened—hand immediately raised to touch his face again—this time more delicately and gently. She caressed his face which heated up in seconds.
Taehyung, too looked away. As much as he felt that it was wrong to let them be, it also somehow felt right. They never got the chance to reconciliate—to solve things between them. Moreover only Dami was drunk—not Jungkook.
His heart filled when she touched him again. Eyes welling up as he spoke, "Not there." Jungkook took her hand and placed it on the left side of his chest. "Here."
Dami's eyes trailed up to Jungkook's teary dark brown ones. Her eyebrows lowered, raising the corners of them—lips parted to say something but nothing came out. Her forehead creased and pupils dilated. "Don't make those eyes."
Jungkook's lips quivered—tears threatened to come out any second. He knew it was not real. Dami was acting like this just because she was drunk and forgot what was happening in the present.
He knew he probably did not mean anything to her at that point. If anything then she must not even want to see his face because of their arguments. But why does it seem like—
"It's okay." Dami hugged his waist—being engulfed by his warmth. She softly rubbed his back. Like— "It's okay," Dami whispered against his chest. Jungkook bit down on his bottom lip—burrying his head into the crook of her neck—embracing her back, he shed a tear.
"I won't leave you," the last sentence, she spoke before getting completely knocked out, came out muffled—going unheard by Jungkook. Like everything else is fake. Only this moment is real.
He carried Dami over his shoulder and placed her on her bed—wrapping her with the duvet. It was easier for him that way. Jungkook got on her knees on the floor. He looked at her closed eyes—removing the hair strands that were strayed on her face.
My plan to get drunk and wasted tonight got failed like this.
Golden rays of sunlight peeked through the small gaps between unevenly draped curtains intruded to Dami's room and fell directly on her eyes, causing her to grown.
"Ugh," she massaged her temples, smelling herself with her eyes still closed. "Geez, I reek!" She finally managed to open her eyes after adjusting with the light. How much did I drink last night?
Dami's eyes then landed on Jungkook who was sleeping peacefully with his head on her bed and the rest of his body on the floor. Honestly, how much did I drink? She pursed her lips, staring at Jungkook.
Normally, she would have yelled as soon as she had seen him but she did not feel like doing it now. Being tired and cozy under the warm duvet, she closed her eyes again. Her head was still hurting.
Jungkook also woke up shortly after. He found Dami sleeping so he walked out of her room—carefully to avoid any noise that could wake her up.
After waking up for the second time, Dami did not find Jungkook in her room anymore, figuring that he had woken up. She made her way to the washroom and washed her face with lukewarm water.
She did not feel like taking a shower so she brushed her teeth and came outside of her room to get something to eat.
"Nice bed hair," Jungkook remarked, causing Dami to jolt her head towards him, faking a laugh afterwards. "Very funny," she retorted sarcastically.
She let out an exasperated sigh before taking a seat in the breakfast table. She looked around to find no one. "It's past twelve." Jungkook put a bowl of haejang-guk (Korean hangover soup) on the table in front of her with a tylenol beside it.
"Everyone has already finished their breakfast. So nothing else is left. That's why I made this soup. You can eat the leftover. We shouldn't waste food, you know?" Jungkook pretentiously frowned.
Dami nodded monotonously. "If you are saying that, assuming that I won't eat it, you are completely wrong." She started drinking the soup. "When did you cook this by the way?" Dami showed him the tylenol.
Jungkook pursed his lips. "You sure talk to much for someone who will have it anyway," he said, causing Dami to shrug nonchalantly.

Vote for the chapter please.
Yay! I updated within a week. Medical life is hectic. I have two items and two written exams tomorrow as well. I'm honestly exhausted.
So the fact that Jungkook actually knows Dami has headache kinda made her feel happy. That's why she wanted to pry it out of him by saying the cooking thing lmao! Tysm for reading!
