Jungkook had a secret crush. Well the word 'crush' could sound a bit exaggerating. But it was truly a secret. He had never told anyone how his eyes followed automatically a familiar figure whom he had known for years.

Dami, being Taehyung's younger sibling was often around Jungkook. The fact that they were of the same age did not help at all. Dami and Jungkook did not talk to each other unless it was absolutely necessary.

But Jungkook always seemed to notice whenever she faced any kind of trouble or needed any help. Though he knew Dami since even before their debut, his heart never failed to race whenever she was near.

Dami was growing into a fine lady. Even though she was no celebrity like Jungkook, his brother and the rest of the boys, she was gorgeous. Guys used to line up to impress her. She dated a few of them as well.

Jungkook and Taehyung always felt the need to leave the conversation whenever Dami brought up the topic about her current boyfriend. But she had to admit that she never felt anything special with them. Neither Taehyung nor Jungkook heard that.

Fall of 2015
BTS Dorm

Dami dressed up because the next day BTS' new album was about to come out and as a good luck charm, she wanted to cook for them by herself. She had already informed them about it one month ago.

But as busy as BTS were, they had completely forgotten about it and decided to eat at some restaurant. But Jungkook had forgotten his wallet and had to come back to the dorm.

He almost had a heart attack when he saw Dami sitting alone outside the locked apartment with a grim expression.

"Oh, hi!" She greeted Jungkook with a smile which did not seem so real. "Where are the others?"

Then it hit Jungkook. "Oh―uh, you see―" he was stuttering.

Dami scoffed. "Don't tell me, they forgot." Jungkook scratched the back of his nape. "They actually kind of did."

Dami's jaw dropped. "What about you?" Her voice was filled with the rage, she was trying to suppress.

Jungkook's eyes fell on her hand which was balled into a fist. He shrugged. "I didn't. What do you think I'm here for?"

Dami happily believed the lie Jungkook told her about him not being there when the guys went out.

"Uh―I guess it's just the two of us, then."

Jungkook frivolously tapped his foot on the ground. His forehead crinkled only a little, eyes gazing at the female in front of him in whom he was interested in for a long time.

"I am sorry if it's awkward," he apologetically said even though it was not his fault.

Dami pursed her lips, softening her eyes. She did not want to make it seem that she was uncomfortable with Jungkook. It was her brother's deed at the first place. If anyone should get blamed then it was him.

On the other hand, Jungkook was unbelievably tensed up. The fact that the girl on whom he was crushing on for the past couple of years was now sitting in front of him and there were just the two of them in the dorm was creating a lot of pressure on his mind because he had to constantly resist his thoughts.

Dami was completely unaware of any of this. The Jungkook, she was seeing was a calm and composed teenager who was successfully not making the situation more awkward than it already was.

"You know what?" Dami tugged the strands of hair that were loosely on her face, behind her ear.

Jungkook blinked and nodded for her to proceed. He was having a hard time to not stare at Dami during the time her fingers were tangled in her hair. Good looks are in the genes for sure.

"We should do something fun."

Jungkook raised one eyebrow, half smiling. This is awkward as hell. Is she actually asking me to take advantage of this situation? It's not probably a bad idea.

"It's a bad idea. Why do something if you are going to regret later?"

"Huh?" Dami stood up. "I am not going to regret it. They are going to regret that they left us alone like this. I exactly know what I want right now." She stepped closer towards Jungkook.

He bit his bottom lip, gazing elsewhere. It was already difficult for him to resist himself but if Dami came to him on her own―How the hell can I push her away?

"This is torture." Jungkook let out a sigh. Dami moved away with something in her hand. "What is?"

He was about to scoff as the response to her question but then she saw the uno cards in her hand. "Let's play uno until they come back," Dami nonchalantly spoke and returned to the couch again.

Jungkook mentally gagged at himself for assuming things like that. "Aren't you going to cook?"

"Let's just order pizza." Dami seated herself comfortably and the whole afternoon, they played Uno.

In the evening, they started watching a movie together. But they both fell asleep. Jungkook had already put his phone on silent to ignore the calls of his hyungs he was going to have. Instead he sent them a short text, "Have lunch without me."

Seokjin unlocked the door and came inside to find Dami sleeping with her head on Jungkook's shoulder. Jungkook also rested his head on the top of hers. They both were comfortable with each other's company now that they were both asleep.

The eldest smiled to himself. Looks like someone lucked out today.
