Third Person's POV

Mindlessly trudging his way through the long, whispering grass, Taehyung breathlessly takes in the sight of the sleepy orange sun setting behind the rolling hills and green dappled trees. A warm breeze blows and ruffles his hair, shifting his midnight locks to blow over his eyes.

The smell of late august is pungent in the air, pollen and grass filling his sense of smell. It's all magnified, the comfortable heat of the evening is stark in the air around. Crickets, grasshoppers and cicadas all sing and buzz around him, in all directions, humming relentlessly loud in his brain. A cacophony of which would often annoy the shit out of Taehyung, making him feel all itchy and icky and desperately in need of a bath and ten coats of bug spray.

However, a light, giddy and child-like laugh drowns out the droning hell that is the uncomfortable mess of the wailing critters. Ahead of him, Jeon Jungkook is running about in the overgrown, flowering weeds and bearing a grin that is far too big but somehow fits on his face perfectly. His fluffy hair, glowing like an aura around his head all due to the golden lighting of the setting sun, was bouncing up and down with his leaps and turns. Dazed yet bubbly butterflies dance around him, and like an overexcited puppy, Jungkook makes it his number one priority to not let them out of his bambi-eyed sight.

And as the yellow butterflies flit away out of Jungkook's reach, he slumps a little, and that ridiculously stupidly adorable pout settles on his face, sticking his pink tongue out. A sodden look falls over his face, and Taehyung can't help but stifle a small laugh at Jungkook's dejected reaction. Why did his boy, his annoying, obnoxious, energetic boy have to be so adorable?

Jungkook is now looking at him confusedly- ah shit, and now he's caught red-handed in the crime of admiring this inexplicably ethereal boy. Taehyung really is grateful that he's happening to court him.

Taehyung pads forward to catch up with sulking Jungkook, and as he does, the tiny details Taehyung loves oh-so much becomes clearer. The galaxy glistening in his bambi eyes, the faint red perfectly dappled across his round cheeks, the small scar on his cheek. All washed with a yellow gleaming light, making it all the more beautiful. A smile then winds its way back onto Jungkook's face, taking its usual spot on his cheeks. His eyes squint up in the corners, and those idiotically cute apple cheeks appear as he intertwines their fingers together, resuming their idle trot down the grassy path.

"Hyungieeee" Jungkook says, drawing out the vowels.

"Stop staring at me"

Taehyung thinks for a moment, partially to drown in the sight of his glowing boy, until he decides an answer.

"No" He states curtly, the edges of his mouth curling up into a smile.

"Weirdo" Warmly, Jungkook replies.

He rolls his eyes and brushes Taehyung's comment away, but the grin firmly stretched across his face stays the same, though, as he snuffles out a little giggle. Taehyung's heart melts a little bit at the lofty, jubilant sound slipping from Jungkook's lips.
