"My Dads want to meet you"
A beat of silence, painful, long, stretched silence in which Taehyung's entire life flashes in front of his eyes. Taehyung closes his eyes and takes a deep breath before he opens them again.
Those dreaded words that had haunted Taehyung's dreams ever since he started dating Jeon Jungkook had finally left his boyfriend's lips.
Now don't get him wrong, Taehyung knew that meeting the family, having the parents' approval is an important thing when it comes to dating Jungkook but it still haunted his dreams.
Taehyung had decided he would deal with it later and had even mentioned to Jungkook in passing about how he thinks his Fathers would react to Jungkook dating him but he always just shrugged it off.
On top of that, Min Junghyun, Jungkook's biological father is a famous writer and actually very scary. One glare from him and he can make you piss your pants. Taehyung has heard all about his heated glares and scary aura that he has around him all the time. Well, the netizens like to exaggerate at times even so people believe what's on the internet. Taehyung doesn't know what to really expect of the said man, Jungkook's Papa, resulting in him being scared of Min Junghyun.
Taehyung never tried much and the conversation always remained on the back end until the dreaded day when Jungkook called him.
"Dada and Papa want to meet you" Taehyung feels his heart skip a beat
"I thought you didn't want to tell them yet?"
"I didn't, Papa apparently spied around a little"
"Papa is Min Junghyun right?" Taehyung chokes out and tries to ignore Namjoon who rushes towards him to listen in on the phone conversation.
"Yes, he apparently asked around but don't worry I told on him to Dada and Yoongi hyung confirmed that he had to sleep on the couch for three days while I was away on the university trip" Jungkook sighs from the other end.
"That- that is a good thing?" Taehyung asks hesitantly
"Yes of course, he is not allowed to spy on us, Dada made him sign on the sheet of house rules"
"You've got a sheet of house rules?"
"We're four people in one house, of course we have rules" Jungkook says as a matter of fact.
"And Min Junghyun is not allowed to spy on his children?"
"He is not allowed to invade our privacy yes. He needs to trust us to tell him ourselves"
"Wow" Taehyung mutters as Namjoon shoots him a look.
"Taehyungie, you're deviating off topic" Jungkook whines.
"Now that they know, even Dada is pretty insistent on meeting you especially when I told them we were together 6 months"
"Why would you tell them that?" Taehyung gasps. Shocked and terrified beyond measure.
