The Leviathan Curse

Historians throughout the world have been studying a certain creature so godlike that it can control the planet's oceans.
It is said that this creature looks somehow like a dragon or a serpent. But some say that it is bigger than any mythical being. I wonder how they know that even without seeing the said creature?
I must say, humans, are much more difficult to understand.
I looked down over my body covered in thick scales. They seem to glitter under the moonlight above the sea. And my tail flips from the beautiful abyss below me and curls so that the light can also strike it.
My eyes closed as my mind shifted through the surface of my home. Time moved on its own without me. Trees have grown tall and old. Flowers withered and bloomed. Seasons changed. At first, I was too scared to go out from the surface of the ocean like a damn mermaid.
But then I discovered a being that doesn't look like an animal but it breathes the air in the sky. What surprised me more is that it can also swim in the ocean like me. A being that can become one with the air, land, and the ocean. A being that can talk. A being that can think. A being that can cry with visible tears unlike me.
A human.
"Will you come with me?" A voice emerged from the distant past. I couldn't make out its face, but its little hand's touch calmed me.
"I will be your friend from now on."
I didn't know that the moment I trusted those words, my life wouldn't be the same as it was when I lived underwater.
My name is Leviathan and this is my story as the god of all creatures of the sea.
