"Mr. Marshall?"

Ty'Quan looked away from his MacBook and turned all of his attention towards Nicole who was standing at the door frame waiting for his permission to come completely inside of his office. She was wearing a skirt with a little slit up the side and black heels with a tight, black top. Her hair was up into a tight bun and her face was beat to perfection. It was how she came to work everyday but Ty'Quan never seemed to notice her.

"Yes, Nicole? I'm busy."

"Marcus wanted me to tell you that he's done with his transcripts and was wondering if you wanted him to drop them by your office on his way out or just leave them there and you come get them."

"He can just leave them there and I'll be down to get them in a moment."

"Okay."

Nicole turned to leave. Ty'Quan resumed his work on his laptop until he smelled a familiar scent rush past his nostrils. Looking away, he saw something brown flash past his office door. Ty'Quan thought his mind was playing tricks on him, but his curiosity got the best of him and before he knew it he was leaving his office and following the scent like a bloodhound.

"This can't be right..."

"Excuse me, ma'am, can I help you?"

The woman turned around and a look of relief washed over her face when she realized who it was. "Ty'Quan, hi."

"Sapphire?"

"Yeah, it's me."

"You look..." his eyes traveled down his body. He tried to be respectful, but the man in him just admired everything he was viewing.

She was wearing a brown shirt that tied in the middle and tight jeans. Everything was just hugged tight and he just stared until she brought him back to earth. Her hair was done and so were her nails.

"I'm sorry." He said. "You look different, and you're wearing glasses."

"You are too." She said.

"I—I can't see up close." He said nervously, removing the frames from his face.

"Lucky. I lost my contacts so," Sapphire motioned to her face, "that explains these. Um, Marcus told me to come here and the woman at the front desk had such a bad attitude. I think...well I know I'm lost. I didn't mean to interrupt your high tech business stuff."

"No! You're fine." Ty'Quan said. "I was almost done anyway and then I smelled you and I followed you to here. That probably sounded so weird."

"You probably smelled my perfume. It is loud." Sapphire said. "The whole building probably smells like me considering the fact that I've been wandering around here for almost forty minutes and no one has even thought to stop and help me. You need nicer employees."

"I apologize for that." Ty'Quan chuckled. "I have to go down to where Marcus' office is located anyway to pick up some things once I was done in here. You can tag along if you want."

"Thank you so much."

Sapphire followed Ty'Quan inside of his office and sat down on the black, leather couch while waiting for him to finish up on his laptop.

"Do you know why Marcus called you here?"

"He didn't say. He just asked me to come see him at his office." Sapphire said. "It's probably something stupid; he either wants me to help him move his things out of there, buy him some lunch, or something else crazy."

Ty'Quan closed his laptop. He stood up and walked over to Sapphire, pulling her up to her feet. "I'm done. I have a question, though."

"What?"
