"Albedo!!" Kaeya screamed as the blonde's lifeless body fell, landing in the cold snow bellow.

Kaeya was sat at his desk doing office work when his lover, Albedo walked into the room. "Hey baby," he smiled as he lifted his head to look at the Blonde before returning to his work. He smiled in return and walked behind the captain's desk, drapping his arms over the bluenette's shoulders. He placed a soft kiss on his cheek as the captain turned his head to face him. "What's up?" He said with a hint of unease in his voice. Albedo only ever acts like this if something wrong. He thought to himself.

"What do you mean?" He asked with a pout. "Can't I be affectionate to my amazing husband?" He said with a slight smirk. Kaeya grabbed his left hand with the ring on it and kissed his fingers softly one by one. He looked into Albedo's eyes, a light blush plastered across his face.

"You know you can tell me if somethings wrong?" He said and the blonde nodded. He smiled sweetly and placed a gentle kiss on his lovers lips to which Kaeya returned the gesture.

"I'm heading off to dragonspine for a while to do some research," he said as he pulled back from the kiss. "I thought I'd let you know before I go." He smiled and Kaeya nodded.

"When will you be back?" He asked and Albedo frowned slightly before covering his pained expression with a smile again.

"Not sure," he smiled.

"Well make sure to be safe, and don't stay out too late." Kaeya replied giving him a stern expression. Albedo chuckled slightly at how silly and protective his lover was being.

"You sound like a worried mother," he joked and Kaeya chuckled slightly. "But I'll be fine." He said and gave him one last kiss before making his way back to the door. He grabbed the door handle before turning back to look at Kaeya.

"I love you." He said with a grin.

"I love you to," kaeya replied with a warm smile. Albedo turned the handle and stood for a few seconds before speaking again.

"Hey Kaeya," he asked turning to him. He cocked an eyebrow in response. "Can you do me a favour?" He asked and Kaeya nodded followed by a 'sure, what's up honey?' "Take care of Klee for me," he said. This left Kaeya in a bit of confusion as Klee was with Lisa in the library today. Albedo left the room and after a few minutes of overthinking the words that left his lovers mouth, Kaeya returned to his work.

A few hours had passed, Kaeya had just finished his paperwork. He meant back in his chair and stretched his arms out behind him. He turned to look at the clock on the wall, 5:52pm. Albedo was usually home by now. Maybe he's staying out late or he went straight home instead of coming here first. Kaeya thought to himself. As he stood up from his chair, ready to go home for the day, Aether burst through the door. Kaeya barely spared him a glance and simply asked, "traveller? What bring you here?" He heard a sniffle and looked up to see tears running down the boy's face.

"It's Albedo."

As he ran through the snowy path, many thoughts raced through his mind. What happened? Is 'bedo okay? He jamp over a fallen tree, his foot losing its grip slightly due to the layers of snow. As soon as he had heard the words 'it's albedo' leave Aether's mouth, he sprang up out of his seat and dashed out of the knights headquarters not wasting a second to get information out of anyone. He heard the sound of a fire crackling up ahead and knew that it must be Albedo's camp. He ran round the corner of a rock and found the camp, only for it to be empty. Frantically his eyes searched the surroundings around him until they settled on a set of foot prints in the snow. He ran in the direction that the dents in the snow lead to. What he saw shocked him. There, standing in front of him on top of a rock, stood Albedo. Sword pointed at his chest.

"Bedo..." he whispers to himself, tears pooling in his eyes. The blonde tightened his grip around the handle on his sword before pushing it forward slightly, stopping at the sudden scream of his lover. His eyes opened wide as he searched for the familiar voice. "NO!" Kaeya had screamed out as Albedo attempted to un alive himself. Tears were flowing from his eyes. Seeing his lover like this filled him with a mix of emotions. Anger that he didn't know Albedo felt this way, confusion as to why he did, sadness and guilt. Albedo lowered the sword slowly whilst looking down at his lover in his broken state. Tears formed in his eyes at seeing how pained his expression was.

"Kaeya..." he trailed off. "You shouldn't be here. You weren't meant to see this." He said, tears now falling from his eyes aswell.

"Why?" Kaeya said in utter confusion. Albedo stood their in silence, the only noise leaving his body being the occasional sniffle from his nose.

"I can't.."

"You can't what?" He chocked out.

"I can't explain it right now Kaeya." He sobbed. Kaeya slowly walked closer to the rock Albedo was standing on top of.

"Bedo...come down from there and we can talk about it okay?" He said.

"Kaeya don't..." Albedo cried through an expression filled with guilt.

"Please love, explain why you want to do this to yourself? What's making you feel like this?" Kaeya asked. The two of them now stood staring at each other, their cheeks tear stained and collars of their shirts wet from tears. Albedo took a deep and pained breath in before raising the sword back up to its original position. "ALBEDO NO!" Kaeya called out as he began to run towards the blonde.

"I love you Kaeya. Please, look after Klee for me." He said as tears poured from both his and Kaeya's eyes. "I have letters for everyone including you on my desk." Was the final thing he said before his own sword pierced through his clothes, then his skin and all the way through until his heart stopped breathing. His body fell limp as it collapsed on the rock. A blood curdling scream left Kaeya's mouth as he watched the sword go through his world.

"Albedo!!" Kaeya screamed as the blonde's lifeless body fell, landing in the cold snow bellow. He ran forward to his now deceased lovers body. He fell to the ground beside him and cried his heart out. "'Bedo..." he sobbed as his thumb traced the skin on his pale cheek. His clothes were stained with blood and the sword had fallen out at the impact of the fall. "Why..." he asked as if the blonde could reply. "I could have helped you, if you just told me..." he broke off. "I could have saved you." His arms made their way around the dead boy's body as he pulled him closer to himself. He cradled Albedo's body away into the night whilst crying his heart out. He would never see his blonde lover again.
