heaven was walking down the halls to her next class when she stopped and stared at the sight in front of her. cassie and nate walking hand in hand down the halls.

what was even worse was the fact that cassie was all done up and dressed up just like maddy. she thought to herself that this whole thing had to be a joke.

she sped walked over to maddy's locker. "um, when were you gonna tell me you had a twin?" she asked.

maddy rolled her eyes and knew exactly what she was talking about. "i know. it's fucking disgusting" she said.

"she is seriously a fucking mental case. like needs to be checked into a mental asyum asap" heaven said.

"tell me about it. honestly with how he treated me she'll get her karma eventually" maddy said. "and that karma will most likely be you bashing her head into a locker" heaven laughed.

"honestly. i fucking hope so. but on some real shit, have you finished the chemistry assignment?" maddy asked.

"what assignment?" she asked, confused but not really worried. "the one about fucking electricity or some shit. i haven't even started and it's due in 2 days" maddy said.

"wait, i thought that was due towards the end of the month?" heaven said, suddenly very worried. "it is the end of the month," maddy said.

and in that moment heaven felt like all the air around her had been sucked right out. if maddy hadn't grabbed her hand she probably would've passed out.

"are you okay? if you haven't started it's fine. we can work on it together" she said. heaven shook her head so fast she nearly made herself dizzy.

"it's the end of the fucking month?! i get my period at the begininng of the month. it's never been irregular or late since i was 13!" she said.

"bitch?! you haven't had your period all month? and you hadn't noticed?!" maddy asked. "fuck. fuck. fuck. oh my god i think i'm having like a fucking stroke or something" heaven said, resting against the lockers.

"okay, seriously. calm down. you don't know anything yet. how about we just skip the rest of the day and go get a test" maddy said, trying to calm her friend down.

"yeah. okay, yeah. let's do that. let's do that know before i fucking pass out" heaven said and pulled maddy down the hall.

"should i drive?" maddy asked, kind of worried that heaven might get into an accident with how erratic she was being.

"no. no offense but you drive way to slow for this situation right now," heaven said as they hopped in her jeep.

"yeah but at least we'd get there alive bitch" maddy said, holding onto the handle on the side of the door as they sped out of the parking lot.

"trust me, maddy. if this test says positive i will actually unalive myself. and not even on purpose. i think i'll have a heart attack and die."

after they made their way to the convenience store and bought five different tests, all different brands they decided they had to go back to fez's house.

maddy's parents would be home and since they were ditching school they couldn't go there. so even though heaven didn't really want to run into fez right now it was her only option.

he was sitting on the couch with ash sorting through pills and counting them off into different bags when the two girls burst through the front door.

"yo, what the fuck are y'all doing? running up in here like the fucking cops or something" he said, his heart racing at their sudden movement.

but heaven ignored them as she pulled maddy upstairs to the bathroom closest to her and fez's room. he rushed up the stairs after them and was confused to see them lock themselves in the bathroom.

"everything good?" he asked. "fine! i'm fine. we're fine. just need a minute" heaven shouted. "but the box says 5 minutes" maddy mumbled.

"five! we need five minutes!" she shouted again. maddy sat on the edge of the tub as heaven peed on the different sticks and set them on the counter.

"are you sure you're okay? what are you doing?" fez asked, still standing outside. "yes. fine. just...girl stuff" she said, the panic in her voice obvious.

fez didn't really know what to do. he wanted to just break open the door and walk in but maddy was also in there and he didn't know if it had something to do with her.

he had a feeling it didn't but he had to be sure. while fez was standing outside the door wondering what the hell they were doing, heaven and maddy were on the other side of the door about to have a panic attack.

neither of them said anything since they knew he was standing right outside. they also didn't know what to say. heaven couldn't even look at the sticks on the counter.

she turned and just stared at the door, maddy looking at the time on her phone. it was the longest five minutes of her life.

the entire time she just stood there thinking over and over again, dear god i know i'm kind of a bitch sometimes but please i'm literally begging please don't there be two lines on these sticks.

after it had been five minutes maddy sighed and tapped heaven on the arm. "it's time to look," she said.

"i can't. i can't fucking look" heaven said, both of them whispering so fez couldn't hear. "do you want me to?" maddy asked.

heaven just shook her head. "no. i don't really want you to look either" she said almost laughing. "heaven. you know that no matter what it is you'll be okay. whatever it says or whatever you decide to do you'll be okay" she said.

would she though? she was only a junior. she still had one more year of high school. and fez. yeah sure he said in the future they would have kids but he meant like years in the future not months.

"heaven. you sure you okay?" fez asked, his voice bringing her back to reality. she didn't answer her as she turned around and braced herself for whatever it said.

and as looked down, her heart dropped to her stomach as time seemed to stop. staring back at her on all five tests were two little white lines. "holy shit" maddy mumbled.

heaven couldn't even speak. she felt like her throat was closing and her mouth went dry. "heaven. yo, im serious what the fuck are y'all doing?" fez asked again but behind the door.

"heaven. i think you do have to open it. he's about to tear it down" maddy said. her words seemed to smack heaven back into reality as she nodded.

"fez, calm down. we're coming" she shouted before gathering all the tests in her hands. "he can't see these" she whispered as she handed them to maddy.

"what? why? you have to tell him" maddy whispered back. "and i will. just not now. i need you to take them. put 'em in your purse or something" heaven said.

"ew. fuck no, heaven i am not putting you're fucking pee sticks in my purse" maddy said. "maddy. will you just fucking- please. okay. i am literally begging you fucking take them" she said shoving them towards her.

"Fine," she huffed, taking them and putting them in her purse. "thank you. i love you seriously" heaven said as she opened the door.

"hey, baby. see we're fine. um, i have to take maddy back home but i'll be right back, okay? love you" she smiled, pressing a kick to his cheek as she dragged maddy back out the house.

fez watched them leave before he even had a chance to say anything. "oh my god. oh my god" heaven mumbled as they got in the car.

maddy looked over at her friend who was just sitting in the driver's seat, completely freaked out. "heaven" she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

"i'm pregant," heaven said, more so to herself than anyone else. "i'm actually fucking pregnant," she said.

"what are you going to do?" maddy asked. "i have absolutely no fucking idea."
