heaven moore was pregnant. now is this the most shocking news you would hear in east highland? no not exactly. i mean before she met fez she was kind of slut. and once she got with fez they were like rabbits it was kind of gross.

i mean seriously those two had absolutely no problem with pda or getting it on in whatever dark secluded corner they could find. one time, only a few weeks after they made in official, some freshman claims he caught them fucking in the alley between the bowling alley and the bank.

so yeah, heaven being pregnant wasn't really a surprise. sure it was shocking that it happened so soon but not really a surprise. if fez was still in school they'd probably be voted most likely to get married and have like 5 kids or something.

but she still hadn't told fez. it had been a few days since the bathroom incident and for some reason, she just continued to go on like she wasn't carrying around fez's baby. fez of course knew something was wrong but didn't say anything. he didn't want to upset her.

so far the only people who knew were heaven and maddy. and after today me and lexi.

i had asked both of them to come over so i could properly apologize.

"why does this feel super weird?" lexi asked as she and heaven stood outside rue's house. "because it's rue. our bestfriend since preschool who is now a drug addict and wants to apologize for being a shitty friend but we love her still so we could never hate her" heaven said, ringing the doorbell.

"yeah. that's probably why," lexi mumbled as rue opened the door. "um, hey" rue mumbled as she opened the door. "hey. you look um...way better" heaven said as they walked in.

"thanks. the uh doctor gave me something for the withdrawal while my mom tries to get me into a rehab again" she said. "so you're feeling better?" lexi asked as they walked into her room.

"yeah. i mean not great. but definitely better than the last time you saw me. which is why i really asked you to come over" she said. both lexi and heaven stayed quiet as they waited for her to continue.

"i uh...i need to say i'm sorry. and not just for what i did that night but everything. every completely shitty thing i've done since i've started using. lexi, coming to your house to ask you to pee in a bottle for me only to yell at you afterwards. and heaven, everything i said about you and fez. and pushing you then i just....you two have just always been there for me no matter what i do to you and i don't deserve it. i know i don't. i've been a shitty friend. but i need you to know i'm really really sorry" she said, her voice cracking as she almost started crying.

heaven, already hormonal and on the edge, and lexi who was just...well lexi started crying too. "rue. you're like our best friend and we love you. don't say that you deserve love from us just because you're an addict. you deserve to be loved, regardless" heaven said.

"yeah. and no matter what you do you're always going to get that from us because we know you. you're not a bad person, rue. your life isn't gonna be defined by like this one moment in time. and if you're really determined to get better then we'll be here for you. every step of the way" lexi said and heaven nodded along with her.

"where's um...where jules and elliot?" heaven asked, almost scared to bring up their names. "i um...i don't know i haven't talked to them and i honestly don't really want to" she said.

heaven nodded and decided it was best not to pry about anything. "how's fez?" she asked. heaven tensed for a moment almost forgetting about her situation.
