heaven walked downstairs to grab something to drink when she saw rue walking down the hall to the bathroom. "hey rue!"
"oh, hey hev" she mumbled, gripping her stomach before shutting the door. heaven looked over at fez who looked just as confused as she did.
"what's wrong with her?" she asked. "i don't know. something about withdrawals or some shit" he said. heaven looked back down the hall wondering what the hell happened.
she knew that rue had been getting high with elliot and wondered why she wasn't with him or jules. "rue? you good?" she called.
"don't...im fucking...im shitting my brains out. please, hev, go away" she said. "you want some pepto bismol or something?" fez asked.
"no! no, fuck. just go away!" rue said, still shouting from the bathroom. "all right, all right" he mumbled before turning back to heaven.
"you tryna watch a movie with us?" he asked looking back at ash and faye who were sitting on the couch.
"i wish," she said, walking in the kitchen. "i still have a three page paper to write on the downfall of rome" she mumbled turning on the coffee machine. "you need help?" he asked.
"are you an expert on the roman empire?" she laughed. "nah but i can help you like research and shit," he said wrapping his arms around her.
she smiled as she turned to face him. "you're cute. but no, it's okay. i'll come back down when i'm done. you should relax. enjoy your movie" she said, kissing him on the cheek.
she took her coffee and walked back down the hall but noticed the bathroom was quiet. she set her coffee down and slowly walked down. she noticed the door to fez's grandma's room was cracked open.
when she looked in she sighed seeing rue trying to open a bottle of her pills. "rue, seriously?" she asked as she walked in.
rue turned around and didn't even look embarrassed. she looked like she was in pain and it broke heaven's heart to see her like this. "hev, please" she begged.
"rue, give 'em to me," she said holding her hand out. "please? please, let me. let me take them. just-"
"rue. you know i can't do that. just give them to me."
"only three. she won't even know that they're gone. she won't miss them."
"it doesn't matter. i'm not letting you take pills from a comatose old lady. it's not right."
"i'm in a lot of pain, heaven, please."
"give it to me, rue," she said grabbing the bottle from her hand. "heaven, heaven. please. just please let me take 'em."
