Chapter 7. Home Sweet Home.
Y/n woke up the next morning. She was in an unfamiliar room, there was someone else in the room too. “Wait… Where am I?” Y/n said with a groggy voice.
“You’re awake. Uh, mornin’?” Michael had no clue what to say, he tried to avoid conversation. “Your parents came over. They wanted to talk to you but they saw you were still unconscious.”
“I was not unconscious. Just asleep, yesterday was tiring. Especially because I had to deal with you.” Y/n’s voice sounded cold with a bit of attitude. She wanted to test his patience. “You might want to watch your tone with me, little girl.” Michael teased, a smirk forming on his face.
"What if I don't?" Y/n snarled back but in a playful way.
“Do not test me.” He glared at Y/n. “My friends are coming over so get out.” Michael gestured for Y/n to leave.
“Fine, fine. Gosh-” Y/n gets up and starts walking out. She runs out of the Afton household to go home.
Once Y/n gets to her house, she yells to her parents.
“Guys! I am finally home. I’m sorry for not being hom-” She was cut off by her parents hugging her. “Oh my goodness, what happened?! Where were you? OH!! What is all that blood on you?! Did you get hurt!?” Y/n’s mother worriedly cries. She was scared for her daughter.
“Well… A lot happened. I was at the park, Michaels friends threatened me, I ran into the woods… I went into an abandoned shed, or so I thought. Something shot out at me, I think it was glass shards…” Y/n begins to explain her journeys.
“Then I passed out.. I woke up to be in someone's arms. That someone was… eh eh… Michael? He saved me practically. Apparently, we went deeper into the woods and stayed there for a bit. We went back to his place for the night. Nothing sexual happened, I swear!” Y/n continued to explain.
“That’s what they all say.” Y/n’s dad exclaimed. Sure, he was caring for his daughter, but he couldn’t believe her. The situation was very unbelievable, and her parents were in slight shock.
“Well, I made it back out alive though,” Y/n smiled awkwardly. She didn't know how to cure the awkwardness.
“You should shower, you have to clean up. I'm still surprised. We need a bit to process this.” Her mother says with a sigh.
Without a moment wasted, Y/n went to the bathroom to shower.
