«...as I mentioned at the beginning of the live, today we have two special guests! please come here and sit right next to me...» Chan smiled at them in front of the camera, inviting the two with a kind look to sit beside him.
as soon as the two other members of the subunit 3racha sat down next to their leader, a smile flickered across their faces; «hi everyone! it's a big big pleasure to be one of your guests in today's Chan's room! I missed STAYs» Jisung happily exclaimed.
«me too! and I bet STAYs missed Dwaekki too» Changbin did aegyeo earning fake disgusted reactions from his friends.
yet in a bat the number of comments increased; some of the new comments proved Changbin was right, that their fans had really missed him; some other comments instead complimented Jisung's look on that day. he looked comfy and stylish.
«so guys, as you have asked me already, there's a particular reason why Changbin and Jisung are here today...» the leader said and the younger of the three nodded smiling.
he was geuinely happy that his Hyung had invited him on that day's live. some time had passed already since the last time he went live, and he had truly missed his STAYs.
sadly due his packed schedule he couldn't find a single hour to go live so as to have a chat with his fans. packed schedules were common between known idols. the more follow an idol had, the more commitments they had to face.
since he was young, Jisung thought that packed schedules, commitments, the inability to find time for yourself, made people less human. man should be allowed to have a leisure time, to live the moment, to live itself.
«...especially Changbin-ah! we have put a lot of effort to write a song in particular.» Changbin nodded besides him. «what about you Ji?» Jisung shook his head to come back to the real world.
he spaced out too frequently for his liking.
«do you think our STAYs are going to appreciate the fifth track of our new album?» Han thought over the question, trying to remember the order of the tracks in their new album; he eventually pressed his lips in a thin line and nodded.
«they're definitely going to like that song! its meaning is really really deep, and we all now that when it comes to STAYs, deep songs break through their hearts from the very first time they listen to it. their critical minds never fail giving us good feedback» he started picking his cuticles with his nails pointing his full attention on his hands while talking.
he was speaking alone in front of a camera, in front of plenty of his fans; what was odd about it? he had done that hundred times already.
why couldn't he relax?
«I- I really like that song, mostly because I can feel someone else's emotions since it's one of the few sad songs we recorded, not written by me... oddly.» the three of them chuckled at the latter's last comment. «but I bet everything I have in my bedroom -excluded all the clothes on the ground- that everyone is going to like that song in particular-»
«excuse me, mind repeating yourself Han-ah? everything in your bedroom you said? for example that big TV screen, right?? want to bet with me? I could take great care of it.» Changbin was acting like a fool, just trying to make him feel comfortable in front of the camera. and Jisung knew it.
the younger with a small smile rolled his eyes and then went on explaining ignoring his friend's comment. «what I was trying to say is that, you know, everyone randomly spaces out for a moment to think about themselves... or- uh... to try to understand how they are feeling in that moment. it's not that simple tho. struggling with our own emotions isn't something easy to deal with -besides the facts that the word 'struggle' itself means facing something bigger than us- especially if those emotions are negative.»
«we're kinda sluggish. we think the torment will eventually come to an end, but we don't realize that it's us who have to make it stop, and because of this lack of realisation we do nothing to make it go away.»
«back to our topic, the fifth track of the new album doesn't give us a way to cope with this agony.» he shook his head;
«I think it expresses the way we feel when we get surrounded by our problems and concerns and isolation is the main sensation imprinted in our bodies in that moment. In fact, isolation is one of the two main themes of the song.» he finished and looked again at the camera, noticing only in that moment that he had looked at everything all around the room but at it.
«that was a perfect explanation bud, with no spoilers at all this time.» Chan jokingly winked and patted his shoulder giving him a sweet smile before going back talking to the camera with Changbin.
