Warning: Violence, Cursing

Don't hurt me please...I promise MK will be fine...maybe...

Bàba=Dad

Biting his lip, MK debated with himself weather or not to go and see what was wrong, given that his instincts were going haywire and telling him not to go look, whilst his moral code was screaming for him to help the person crying. In the end, his moral code won, and the teen returned himself to his normal size, taking out the staff as he walked over to the source of the noise...just in case.

Peeking around the boulder, he was surprised to see a young boy with green eyes, who looked quite disheveled. The kid couldn't be any more than six years old, dressed in a dirty light blue t-shirt, and white shorts, which honestly couldn't count as white anymore, given how muddy they looked. MK also noticed the child's lack of shoes, only wearing socks littered with holes, that were also quite dirty.

"Hey there--"

"S-stay back!" The boy cried out, flinching and frantically backing away from the monkey boy, fear dancing in the younger's eyes.

"It's alright, I won't hurt you~" The elder male smiled, his voice soft and soothing, like he used whenever Ming had a nightmare. "My name's MK, what's your's?"

"G-Gǔ Tóng..." The child stuttered out in fear, his whole body shaking.

"What are you doing down here? It's really dangerous, and I'm sure your parents are worried about you," The monkey prince had yet to put away his staff, as his instincts still had him standing on end, mearly carrying it with his tail so that he wouldn't frighten the kid.

"I-It's you..." The little kid gasped. "You're the Monkey Kid."

"Um, yeah," MK gave a nervous laugh. "Uh, so, back to your parents--"

"Come with me!" The boy said, jumping to his feet and running off, back in the direction of Spider Queen's lair.

"H-hey! No! Stop!" The simian teen cried out, rushing after the child, trying to stop them from getting caught. "Not that way! There's a demon that way!"

"My reason for calling you here Ming, is that I have a proposal for you," Guan Yin hummed, the goddess setting her monkey companion down next to her, with the little princess spotting a pond nearby, a single goldfish peeking up from the water. As for Moksha, the young male stood a few feet away, per the Bodhisattva's request. "I wish to take you on as a disciple of mine."

Blinking, it took the young simian a moment to register the woman's request, "I don't think that Bàba and Papa would like that very much."

Chuckling, the elder female ran her fingers through the younger's hair, "This isn't their decision to make, it's your's."

"Why me though?" Ming tilted her head in curiosity. "I don't think Mr. Jade Emperor would like that either."

"From our first talk, I made the choice to keep an eye on you, seeing how you behaved," The immortal female summoned forth two cups of tea, handing one to her monkey granddaughter, who politely thanked the elder. "And I saw how you were to those around you, showing mercy and kindness, always supporting your brother and his friends."

"Does this mean I have to give up fighting?" The little princess asked, climbing into her grandmother's lap with a humm, and looking up at her elder.

"Not necessarily," Guan Yin smiled. "Though you will need to know when it is right to show mercy."
