We shopped around France. Akala ko nga ay nagbibiro lang siya, and I honestly did not expect him to bring me here. Shopping lang ang sinabi niya, I didn't knew that this is what he meant by that.

Pero nang bigla niyang sinabi na gusto niyang puntahan ang mga lugar na napuntahan ko na rito, ay may napagtanto ako. He want us to shop here, not just because he wanted to show off, he also want to see the places I've been... to see how I lived these past years when we were away.

"So, you studied business?" Bulong niya, while his fingers are busy combing my hair.

Umayos ako ng higa sa dibdib niya, "Yeah, sa Emlyon Business School. It was near to where I was staying before, so I chose that school."

He carefully intertwined our fingers, naka-upo ako sa kandungan niya at nakasandal pa ang aking likuran sa kaniyang matigas na dibdib.

From here, the Eiffel Tower is visible. Siguro kaya niya pinili ang lugar na ito. I've seen this Tower before for countless times already, pero iba ang dating nito sa akin ngayon. Mas napapansin ko kung gaano ito kaganda sa paningin. The view and the ambiance hits different, the lights looks more alive, the wind seems fresher, and everything just feels... sweeter.

"You were living with Isaah, right?" May himig ng pagdadalawang isip niyang tanong.

I nodded, 'cause why would I lie? Yes, I'll hurt him, but he needs to know the truth. So, I did tell him everything. Nakikinig lang siya sa akin habang marahang hinahaplos niya ang hita ko.

My dress has a slit, so his warm hand can easily access my thigh, pero hanggang doon lang, he can proceed though--- move his hand higher, but he didn't.

"Uuwi na ba tayo bukas?" I asked. Wala naman akong ibang gagawin. But I still wanna know.

Naki-usap ako kay Fheris na bantayan si Isaah, total wala naman siyang pinagkakaabalahan masyado. I called him earlier, after Jeremiah told me we'll spend our night here.

"I'm already home, Muse." He immediately answered.

Kumunot ang noo ko, "you bought a house here or something?"

Or did he owned this hotel we're in?

He carefully held my chin, and tilt my face just so our eyes could meet. Namumungay na mga mata niya akong tinitigan.

"Anywhere, I can live anywhere, I can have a house anywhere or two... as long as I am with you, then I am home," masuyong sabi niya gamit ang namamaos na boses.

Kung hindi ko lang pinangakong dahan-dahan lang muna sa sarili ko, ay baka lumuhod na ako ngayon at nagpropose. Wala man akong nakahandang singsing, pero gustong-gusto ko na talagang... I badly want to do that. But I should restrain myself from making a huge move. Hindi pa pwede.

If I'll rush now, I might ruin everything.

I should... wait until everything is already very settled. Hindi ko alam kung kailan iyon, kung gaano katagal, kung malapit na ba? But as long as I am with him, and as long as I can feel that he loves me, then I won't mind this gradual process.

I slept peacefully. With his arms around me, his warmth on my skin, his face on my neck... my night became a lot better. Peace. I have a dosage of enough serenity in me right now, that I can't help but get scared... I might get used to this.

Tulog parin siya nang magising ako, I stared on the ceiling and think. For a while, I wished for us to get married sooner, na-iimagine ko ng buntis ako, we will share steamy nights, enjoy our meals together, sleep in one bed, live in the same roof, discuss baby names, at marami pang iba. Happy. I will be very ecstatic if ever.
