20 - The school council

Please don't break up with me!

He looks you in the eyes as he takes your hand.

"We need to talk to the school council and tell them that there is a rumour"

"But you will get fired if the find out that is it true"

You feel a tear starting to form as you look at him. He looks away while thinking about what he was going to say.

"They won't!"

You look at Tom while sitting in the room, waiting.

Tom had talked to the school council the night before. He then called you and told you about how it was going to be.

He told you that the school council was aware of the situation.

You you couldn't act like you knew him know.

The only thing you had to do was go in there and act like you and Tom weren't dating.

The doors open and everything goes smoothly. You walk in sit down, not to close to Tom.

Let be honest. You were scared.

Just three days ago you were having the time of your life and now you are sitting here.

It felt like you were just watching your life get ruined.

Again...

Tom starts talking.

He talks to the members of the council about how he barely knew you.

It was hard for you to hear him talk like this about you. It made you feel like nothing.

"That is a very good point, thank you mr Hiddleston." The lady in the front chair says.

She then looks over at you.

"What are your perspective on things, ms L/N?" She looks kind.

You get up from your chair and look at her.

"My perspective is..."

You try to thing back at all the things Tom told you to say.

" ... that I don't really know Tom-"

Fuck I blew it!! No I can save it

".. mr Hiddleston. I am in one of his class but other than that I don't know or see him"

You look up at her as you sit down.

I blew it! I blew it!

As you sit here, looking at her. You wanted to cry more and more.

"You are both free to go."

You look up at her.

Did I hear that right?!

Everybody else in the room get up and walk out of there.

The days pass by.

You and Tom decided to keep your relationship quiet and in the dark.

You made sure to only meet at his house or at yours. And the times were he would call you to his classroom after a class, those times were over for now.

You both agree that you wouldn't create attention upon yourself and just kinda 'disappear'.

To be honest you weren't happy with the outcome. But you would do anything for Tom, including making sure he wouldn't get fired.

So this was the best idea.
