"mama." theo pulled on andrea's sleeve once again begging for her attention.
"theo. i have to finish this call okay? i'll give you my phone when i'm done." the two were at the pharmacy andrea fixing a few things up since they had yet to open up for the day.
"mama." he urged at her sleeve again.
"theo, baby i have to finish okay? go sit down."
theo paused looking out the store window. he had seen the same person going up and down the sidewalk stopping at the door before returning to pace. he was really just trying to inform andrea.
"mama."
"theo, sit down! i will play with you when i'm done." theo looked down.
she rarely ever yelled at him.
"okay." theo went behind the register climbing up to sit down in the chair.
he sat up straight trying to see the window from the chair. realizing he was too short to see. he released a sigh slouching in the chair.
"okay what's wrong baby?"
"someone at the door." he pointed to the window which caused her to look back.
she turned around fully noticing someone pacing in front of the door.
the door was locked since they were still closed.
"you wanna call papá to ask if he's still coming?" andrea asked still looking back to the woman pacing in the door.
"okay mama." she handed theo her phone.
"hi papá! no is not andre. is me theo." theo let out a little laugh.
andrea noticed the woman stop. turning her head to look into the store. the windows were tinted. so the woman wouldn't see much really on the inside. but andrea could see her clearly. very clearly.
it was aliyah, she mentally cursed their father for telling her where she worked.
she was with theo.
she turned back around to see theo still babbling on the phone.
"papá mama asked if you were still coming."
andrea facepalmed. he was supposed to just ask not out her like that. she shook her head.
"mama, papá said he's coming."
"okay."
"no shes not busy." theo paused. "he want to speak to you."
"hello?"
"ma. i didn't think you were leaving so early we coulda left together or somethin."
"kevin couldn't come in today and you were asleep i also needed to restock some thing's."
