CHAPTER 3

andrea looked towards the girl seated next to him.

"oh umm hi i'm rue." she said as she waved awkwardly.

"okay." she turned to fez. "i need to talk to you." she looked at rue again.

"wait fez did you say andrea castio? omg your the other drug dealer that i've been talking about, you know like a year ago i stumbled into her yard-"

"rue."

"oh sorry gotta little excited over here. anyways the only other female drug dealer i know-"

"rue. head to the back with ash."

"fez i've been through one of your deals and remember i'm clean-"

"rue head to the back."

"okay." she got up and nodded towards andrea.

"thank you."

"what you need castio?"

"i have a proposition for you." he nodded for her to continue.

"okay well i've been making a lot of less then usual. and your not really making anything since you got out and i need someone who's done this-"

"nah ma to risky."

"look fez please don't interrupt me i wasn't done talking."

"cause i know where this is going. it's to dangerous okay? i just got out two months ago i almost lost ash okay? so i can't i'm sorry ma."

"okay yeah. can you think about it?"

"ma-"

"just think about it okay you can come over to the pharmacy and we can talk okay? it's safe it's secure and i'll show you okay? i just need help for a little while to get business started up again."

"you got to much to lose ma i don't know why you still doing this."

he was talking about theo. she knew that. "theo is separated from all of this."

"as long as you in he is too."

"okay will you help or not?"

"we can talk more tomorrow."

"okay umm bring some fruit roll ups for when i come over and those little things of fruit punch." fez looked at her like she had two heads.

"why would i need to do that?"

"well you need to feed your guests some how right? and theo gets cranky when he doesn't eat, keep that in mind. i'll see you tomorrow." she turned and started to walk towards the door.

"yo you bringing your kid!"

"mama back." theo ran towards her hugging her legs.

"he fell asleep for thirty minutes then cried after realizing you weren't back." she looked down at the boy who had his face in her knees rubbing his eyes on her jeans she picked him up and placed him on her hip, and she wiped his eyes. 

"i don't want you to come in tomorrow."

kevin looked at her like she was crazy. "what?"

"i don't need you here tomorrow. i'm gonna keep the shop closed until i need it opened. think of it as an unpaid vacation. otherwise answer when i call you or i can find someone else to do your job, goodnight." not bothering to await his reaction she headed to her office theo in her arms.

"pizza now?" fuck she thought he would've forgotten.

"yeah let me order."
