CHAPTER 6

"so basically i give you all my drugs, and you sell em?" fez leaned back into his chair.

andrea nodded.

"you said you got cops on your payroll too?" she nodded again. "what happens if the cops turn?"

"i own a pharmacy fez, i'm legally obligated to sell drugs. you are not, given the fact that you sell drugs to high schoolers which happened to be your main source of income, there's not gonna be high school party's during summer, including the fact that most of them are underage. to answer your question if they turn, they turn i got nothing to hide i own a pharmacy what are they gonna send me to jail for selling drugs?"

fez stayed silent. he didn't know how hostile she had gotten towards him or how hostile she really could be after everything they had gone through. along with the fact that she kept deliberately targeting him.

in their case everything had happened so quickly and the two were over before they had even started. because shit had hit the fan.

hard.

fez cleared his throat. "you got this all planned out huh?" andrea smiled lightly nodding.

"yea i guess i do." she stood up turning around

"when do we start?" her eyebrows furrowed and she tuned to look at him.

"we?"

"yea we. you sellin my drugs."

"you would want to risk it?"

"i ain't risking shit, you are. ash is outta all this now all he gotta do is take care of the shop and my grandma. you on the other hand, you risking a lot ma."

"shit happens everyday fez i can't do shit about it. i'll see you monday."

she didn't bother hearing anything else from him walking back inside to the shop heading straight towards the office.

she paused at the doorway seeing ash and theo playing. 

she gave it a minute before feeling a presence behind her. fez was standing behind her his hand above her head the other scratching his neck.

"y'all good?" fez called out. the two boys looked up to the door.

"mama!" theo ran to her bringing his face into her knees. "ashley play with me!"

she nodded to him picking him up. holding in her laugh at the name. "did you have fun?"

"yes! i gave kiss to his hurt." he pointed at ashtrays chest area. he had been clutching it when he would walk.

she frowned at the thought of him being shot. she thanked god she wasn't there to see it herself. ashtray was like a brother to her, it would have pained her to see him in pain.

she sighed lightly looking back to theo "i thought you said only kisses for momma?"

"kisses to everyone." he put his palm to his mouth smacking them in his lips blowing kisses.

"how come i ain't get no kisses?"

andrea paused going silent she had forgotten that they weren't alone.

she looked up to fez who was now standing beside her looking down at theo in her arms.  she didn't know how long but it had felt like the time had stopped as she continued to stare at his eyes, his face, anything in her sight.

noticing the other  stare he looked to her instead, while she looked towards  the little dimpled smile that adored his face. it went silent and it had felt like they were alone.

completely.

"kisses for frez too!" theo jumped out of her arms and into fez's. he looked startled immediately wrapping his arms around him.

theo started to kiss his face. fez's smile had turned into chuckles turning into laughter.

she had missed that laugh.

she cleared her throat. "umm we're gonna go now, i'll uh see you guys monday." she reached for theo trying to pull him into her arms. only to have him hanging on to fez tightly.

"theo come on we gotta go. i gotta put you down for a nap."

"i'm not sleepy!" he rested his head back into fez's neck. "you go. i stay."

"come on little man, i'll come with y'all." he could see the littlest of frustration that had started to appear on her face. andrea paused it easing out as he spoke.

a little bribing never hurt anyone. he thought.

theo paused. "ok." he gave in after a little bit of thinking. "we go." andrea nodded to ashtray and received one back.

"bye ashley!" theo waved to him excitedly.

"bye theo."

the three walked out of the shop, fez opening the back door of the car noticing the car seat in the middle. he placed theo down clipping the seatbelt on.

"thank you." andrea whispered he almost hadn't heard it.

"what was that?" he said moving his ear closer.

"i'm not saying it again."

"you are welcome."

he nodded to theo. who looked like he was at the brink of sleep. his eyes opening and closing as they started to close.  huh guess he was sleepy.

"he's almost out."

"give it a few seconds, he won't cry when he realizes you're gone so thank you."

he nodded walking backwards. "you said it again."

"damn it."

"there's kids around, none of that."

he didn't give her time to answer. "i'll see you monday drea."

"i'll see you then." she waved to him.

she knew that his wed guard had fallen. and that she was back at square one. just like she had been three years ago.

right in his clutches.

it would only be a matter of time before she had fully,
